Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere much more modern than the competition. Large menu options and kid friendly items like French fries etc which makes it easy for picky toddlers. If you have or haven’t tried Yemeni food I’d highly suggest Taste of Yemen. Beef kabsah or lamb Mandi are highly recommended with any soghar or akdah dishes I loved mixing mine with the rice and bread the sahawiq is to die for. For dessert I’d suggest the kanafa or masoob. Bathrooms are clean area is large with outdoor and upstairs seating. They take reservations via phone.

Well am going there everyday until I taste whole menu. So far everything perfectly cooked juicy and tasty . They are Amazingly generous on quantity and foods always fresh . Best thing any ethnicity can eat. Spicy levels are moderate.

What an incredible restaurant! I went in with zero idea what Yemen food was like, and I left with a new favourite spot. Food was outstanding!! Our table of 2 had the Popular Lamb, Fish, 2 Kinds of chicken, and 3 different desserts. And despite all that food, didn’t leave feeling overly heavy, the food was wonderfully flavoured and well balanced. And well COOKED! The Dessert the Kanafa is seriously outstanding.And the staff, we were treated like royalty! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and extremely kind. I think every member of the staff came over to see if we needed anything, just because they could. Food came extremely fast, presentation was SO cool! Decor was simple and perfect for the space (love the “cityscapes” on the walls).Loved it ALL!! Can’t wait to go back. You’d be crazy not to try this place!!!

Not sure where to start, the food is literally speaking the best restaurant in Calgary for Arabic food-quality and quantity!!! Service- amazing owners and waiters. Madbi is our favourite- lahm segar- kebdah- lahm soup. Bread!!! . You are missing out if you haven’t tried it yet!!!

I finally can say that I have a favorite restaurant in calgary.....as soon as you walk in the vibe of the place, the staff, all the little details are just amazing.Every single one of the staff are smiling and they all look like they actually enjoy their job, tells alot about that healthy work environment.Let's start with the food, my daughter is one of the pickiest eaters ever, and for once she really enjoyed the food there.We had lamb mandi, the spices are just perfect, the rice, the tenderness of the meat...it was one of the best mendis I've had in my life. We also had the bbq plate with Shish tawook and kebab, they were cooked to perfection, the chicken was so juicy, the beef was so flavorful. Now my favorite was the bread, it's a must tryyyyyyy its so soft and fresh and glazy, just perfect.For desert we had the fruit crepe, let me tell you this was one of the fullest crepes I have ever tried, was perfect, not too sweet even though it was covered in chocolate.This place is honestly the best spot you will ever go to, I can't wait to go and try the rest of their menu.Highly recommend

Taste of Yemen restaurant is a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations in every way. The chicken mandi, kebsah lehm, and fish dishes were absolutely delectable, showcasing the richness of Yemeni flavors. The tender lamb in the kebsah , the tantalizing blend of spices in the kebsah lehm, and the fresh and perfectly cooked fish were all highlights of my dining experience. But what truly made the visit exceptional was the warm and welcoming management and owners, who ensured that every moment was delightful
