I am very surprised to be the first review. Tammy and Steve took incredible care of us when we had to say goodbye to our very dear 14.5 year old Harley. I spoke to both of them on the phone beforehand and they eased my worries immediately! They went out of their way to squeeze us in so we could get our girl back home, and made us feel like she was in the best hands possible. Their property is beautiful and we will always be grateful for their kindness and everything they did for us and continue to do for pet owners in the area!

It was such a pleasure to meet Tammy and Steve today!! Totally not the experience I expected to have going to a crematorium…. In the best way possible. Thanks for taking such good care of our beloved fur babies. I feel so much better knowing that my dogs body was in their caring hands as I’m sure we can all relate to the guilt that comes with losing an animal and choosing to cremate their bodies. Oh, and thanks again for letting me use your restroom hahaha. What a wonderful couple I cannot say enough good things :)

Fortunately for us animal lovers, Steve and Tammy are in the wrong business... they are honest, caring, funny, accommodating, and don't charge anywhere near enough for their services. To make a long and the most painful experience short... We arrived sullen, heartbroken, in shock, and with much regret... we left with sore cheeks from laughing and a couple new friends

We drive from Sidney BC to Courtenay to have our animals cremated because the owners go so far above and beyond I can't express it into words. Respect, love and compassion is how I would describe Steve and Tammy. Our pet is treated like their pet. They are a small business and will always have our support. Thank you Steve and Tammy.

i was totally devastated having to get my best friend of 14 years molly put down. i had her hip replaced years ago, maybe some people don't get it but i really wanted her hip returned to me with her ashes. i was too unhappy to ask. it was a great surprise to find her hip in a separate bag with her ashes. and more, when i called to thank them for that the woman who answered the phone actuallly remembered doing that. for me losing molly was more painful than i'd wish on anyone. having her remains treated with such respect, and not being treated like just another invoice definitely made a horrible thing easier to take. highly recommended

I am so happy I found Steve and Tammy and VI Pet Crematorium. They took amazing care of my sweet girl and I felt at peace entrusting her to them.. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and compassion. I highly recommend them.
