I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew (store owner) and he was extremely helpful and took the time to walk me through a bunch of products. I expected there to be some sort of obligation to purchase something after spending close to 30 mins chatting with me. It was the the total opposite. He offered me a bunch of samples and told me to go home and give them a try! Of course I returned two days later to get the Hurraw dog food. My dog loves it.I also chatted with Katie and she was extremely helpful in explaining some basic puppy do’s and don’t as well as some insight on crate training and food transition.They have a plethora of great products and really helpful and friendly staff.Thank you!

I do not understand all the rave reviews about customer service. It's inconsistent, it depends on their mood. Seems like they decide who deserves service. They do follow some customers around quietly who look different. That was sad but obvious observation. They certainly seem to have aversion to incoming pets. Strange for a pet store.

Witnessed an employee insult a customer. Really nasty customer service. These young people aren't trained to handle situation with other adults without embarrassing them. Presumably the owner has trained them to have this power rather than humility. Issue wasn't big and the customer seemed apologetic. It was visibly obvious that she was aware that it's a small shop and everyone can hear things. I will never go back there as I can be next!Update: of course for optics you would claim you spoke to the customer. Do you know which day, time, what did customer look like? I have been holding on to put this review for weeks. This response shows that owner himself doesn't care about poor customer service. I was there, as a customer, and honestly it was quite horrifying.

Poor customer service, high prices. They have monopolized some products otherwise not a friendly pet store.In response to the owners comments: there are some foods only your store carries. Yes, other retail items are a bit pricey. Most importantly there is lack of customer service. Samples are not free and most items dont have samples. Have also noticed some customers get treated differently than the others. Rarely do staff say hello to people walking in, rarely do they interact with pleasant manners. Yes, questions are answered but staff is very short. This is experienced and witnessed.

Upon arriving at the store I was greeted by two friendly staff and a sweet doggie.I went there to find a probiotic powder for my cat and doggies. I was really confused about what would be best for my pets.The ladies were very helpful and knowledgeable about everything and gave me the best option. They took the time to explain the options and how they work. They know the products very well and what would be best for your fur baby’s situation and health.I learned so much from the knowledge of these ladies. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me and providing such great helpful useful information.I really appreciate your help with finding the best probiotic for my fur babies health.

Absolutely outstanding customer service! Katinga (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was incredibly helpful. As a first time dog mum I have been very overwhelmed on best practices for feeding my new pup. Katinga was extremely knowledgeable about the products and what would be best for my breed. She took her time to explain the befits of the different products and I left feeling much more confident! She was patient in answering all my questions and had a great attitude.Thanks for such a great experience and I look forward to shopping here with my puppy from now on!

I went to Tail Blazers to get more information on raw feeding my dog as well as get some birthday presents for him. Luckily I went on a day when the rep for a great Canadian raw food manufacturer was there and she was so informative and patient, explaining everything (btw my dog loves it). I was impressed by the food options and all the toys & accessories that Tail Blazers carries, they seem to focus on quality and health which I appreciate. Recommend this store!
