The Beer Store

Awesome experience! I haven't been for awhile and the dude doing empties saw I was disabled and took my empties, found what I wanted to purchase, completed the whole process at his register and carried my purchase to the car for me! Bravo to the dude working empties at the Cambridge store on Franklin and Dundas at 3:20 on 04/25/2019!

Service is a hit or a miss. Sometimes they are rude other times really nice. I got a case of Alexander Keith's on promotion for a couple dollars off and and a free can of radler inside. Took it home to find the top of the box had been pulled open enough and someone took the radler. I called them to let them know and the girl told me it happens all the time. Sounds like they need to keep a better eye out. I think it would be noticeable to staff if someone is opening cases and stealing! They told me I could come get a free can of beer to replace it but haven't bothered.

I arrived at this location with my empties before the store opened and waited in line. There were no carts, so I waited for the staff to arrive. Once they opened I went to the door to ask for a cart to be told that there was a separate line for carts (no signage). I explained to the gentleman that I was in line with my empties, where he informed me that carts get stolen (I wasn't there to steal a cart). I then retrieved a cart from a customer that was returning the cart and asked him if I could take it, then went back to my spot in line. the staff member then came out and belittled me in front of all the other customers standing in line, telling me that he needed to sanitize the cart. I apologized to him three times. He then came over in an aggressive way with a lysol wipe to clean the cart and told me and others he was at high risk. Others in line came to my defense and told him there should be better signs to direct customers. I was embarrassed by his actions and extreme lack of customer service...shocking! I will be making a complaint.

Really slow taking returns. Only one staff doing returns. If you need a Cart you have to wait in line for it and then other people who arrive with only 1or2 cases get ahead of you because they restrict the number of carts. You should be able to keep a place in line until a cart frees up it is only fair. When I mentioned to management, they just shrugged shoulders. Great customer service.....NOT!!!!

Hello,I just spend 50 minutes in the line to be send back to the car. First 30 minutes I wait for a cart because of very bad organization and next 20 minutes in the line. I was there to return the bottles with my husband, my husband is sick person after car accident and he can't take care over for have things. I'm small person about 100 pounds and I know that noone helps me in this location. Unfortunately today we went there and front guy told us that only one person can go inside. It was no problem for us to wait little bit longer if one more person leave the store, but he said no way. I think It could be because we spoke between each other in other language. It never happened in any other beer store before.

This is an open air Beer Store. You are able to grab some of the more popular selections off the shelf and have to order all others. I do find that the staff often seem irritated when people bring back their empties for return.

They are always very good to carry out for me, when I pick up Cliff's Beer there!Awesome people working in this heat as well as Covid 19 pandemicThey deserve a raise for sure!!

Always a great selection of COLD beer! Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and I have personally seen them turn away customers that were obviously impaired and shouldn't have been served...very responsible of them! New layout is easier for grabbing a few singles and Self Serve option is one I like. Staff are quick to locate and send out special" orders. Great place!"

The service was ok, I got their Wensday at 1:30 pm and only 2 people a head of me returning empties. Only 2 people at time in the store for returning empties, I left 15 minutes later 6 people lined up all in all I have seen line ups much longer come the weekend.
