Copper Quarter Campground

Turned up after we were told reservations were not needed and no one was there to check us in. Tried calling. No answer and voicemail was full. Looked like a pretty bare bones campsite in the middle of an industrial area. Would not try to camp here again. Might be OK if you are in an rv.

Campground is in a industrial area. Metal grinding and welding until very late. Neighbors play radio loudly early morning.

My husband and I have been staying at Copper Quarter Campground while waiting for our new home to be completed and have enjoyed the central location and close proximity to all Kamloops has to offer. While here we have been able to take in Barrel Racing and steer roping competitions that Kamloops Race Central hosts throughout the year.This is not a destination resort campground. It is located in the heart of the area adjacent to an industrial site and as such it can be noisy at times. The owner and campground manager more than make up for any noise. They are friendly, approachable and work hard to ensure the campground is a safe place for their guests to stay.If you are looking for a central location in the heart of the area then you have found it. It is the perfect home base to explore all that Kamloops and area have to offer.I have rated it at 4 stars taking into account the noise from the industrial area.

Called the place about a month before our trip and he told us we were fine to bring our older unit into the campground. A day before we planned on arriving he informs us that RVs older than 2010 are allowed in his park. Funny, because half the RVs parked there were DEFINITELY not newer than 2010. Now every other campsite is full for the winter. Thanks for nothing!

Most horrible campground around 1250 for 4 weeks and no washrooms laundry is 10 bucks a load wont even dry it ur paying for mud and theiving neighbours and par0k owners dont do anything about it

This campground was still under construction in August 18 when we camped there with our tent. Pretty primitive at that time (shower = watering hose ; chemical toilet), but host was nice and helpful with us. Noisy till midnight because of the nearby factory (campground located in an industrial area). 24$/night. A good place for one night.

OK for an overnight stay. Just a field with camper and RV used by local trades workers. Washrooms were clean, small playstructure for the kids.

Keep Driving! This campsite basically a rough field with services. The sites are very close together and there are mostly long term residents here. Unless you are looking for a dusty unmaintained site with a view of all the neighbors stuff, keep going.It gets two stars because it did have services (the power kept tripping the breaker), and is close to Kamloops center.

We had a nice gravel site, they say wifi but there isn't.

Nice camground with clean facilities and good view. Although we got woken up by construction work next to the campground. It was very loud and annoying. Even though we slept in the car the noise was super loud.
