In terms of their online store, it's five stars. Great service, fast shipping. You'll always get the items you order.Now their physical location, I would avoid stepping in. The employees are rude, and lack any sort of customer service skills. They critique you for whatever you purchase, like it's any of their business to ask. Inside the shop is a depressing jail cell behind a locked door of misc anime books and physical format films, lacking any sort of color or light inside. Two stars for the experience.Stick with ordering from them online. It's not worth it to see them in person.

So fun! There's a massive variety of manga which is what we came for, with the addition of racks of DVDs. Very nostalgic. Some of the DVDs aren't clearly labelled and my friend walked out with a $56 blu-ray. The store was busy so the owner let us in without needing their membership ID. Staff was nice and there is a lot of personality to the store.

I have shopped here many times and have spent my money here with great enthusiasm. Even as a first time customer the experience was fantastic with superb customer service from Kai in particular. Over time the experience has only improved and I will happily continue to support this business as long as I can <3

Visited for the first time a couple days ago and I probably won't purchase manga anywhere else! Great variety and very organized.

It's a treasure chest of manga, dvds, merchandise and media.They don't focus on figures or merchandise, they mainly stock print and digital media. Think: anime, manga, novels, posters, dvds, CDs. Some art books.Lots of older digital media. Maybe for the collectors. They have the new releases of manga. You can check all their inventory online before you go!Parking is ample. It's located in a corporate area. Hole in the wall in that noone expects it to be there. It's like a warehouse.Open over the weekend! Weeb out.

The best price for manga! They usually have all the volumes of each series in stock! Whenever I visit, I come out with stacks and stacks of volumes haha!

It's a treat to see a store specializing in physical media when one is lucky enough to find one, but aside from the impressive selection of DVDs and mangas, I found this store largely disappointing. The whole vibe of the place feels very cold and unfriendly, as not only are all the movies/TV shows displayed in aisles named after distributors rather than genres, there are also labels warning you that there are security cameras above EVERYWHERE. I get that they want to prevent store thefts, but constantly reminding customers that they're being watched is a very hostile and unfriendly move (a smiley face on the sticker doesn't change that). It's also one of the very few shopping places left in BC that still forces you to wear a mask, which is incredibly annoying and unnecessary in this current time when nearly everyone's been vaccinated, as well as the fact that the 30-something Asian dude working at the counter is a very rude, unsociable guy (as a few others have pointed out). Like I said earlier, it was still nice to see a place specializing in physical media in this day and age, but I wish a store like this was ran with a warmer, more customer friendly attitude. The lack of price tags anywhere in plain sight was also questionable, it was as though the owner was deliberately trying to hide how overpriced his stuff was (there is a computer to look up items, but the absence of price tags still feels somewhat shady). Only go if you are in serious need of upping your DVD/Blu-ray/manga collection.
