i had richard inspect a house i was considering renting .... he pointed out issues with the heating system, windows, etc. as well as possible problems down the line (water, mold, and such) .... alas, i disregarded his report and went ahead with taking the house because of aesthetics and location, something i regret .... had i heeded what i was told i'd have had fewer cold nights, no bugs, spent less money, and had potable water .... i will most certainly hire HIP again on my next move and will listen to what he says this time!

While negotiating with the seller , I opted to get a home inspection. HIP provided a very thorough report which resulted in me having a better bargaining position. Because of this report, I was able to negotiate 10% off the seller's previous final offer. Very professional services and I would definitely recommend!
