Urban Barn Oshawa

The greeting when you walk into Urban Barn is the warmest I have ever received anywhere! They make you feel like you belong and are so helpful. It is such great shopping experience. Naturally I always leave the store with something amazing!

Love Urban Barn but it took me quite some time on deciding to buy the $3000 sofa given its a big purchase for me. I came into the store on Black Friday weekend without knowing this was going to be a frustrating experience. Due to some miscommunication with the sales associate, the discount applied to my purchase wasn’t exactly the same I could’ve got from another Urban Barn store. However the sale associate was friendly and apologetic so at the end I was fine with whatever applied given my credit card was already processed. While walking back to my car, I was doing the calculation myself and found out the final amount wasn’t right and it was $300 short. So I went back into the store and saw another sales rep. I said hi to see if she could help me, I was literally ignored. So I had to go directly to the counter and wait for someone who was willing to help. Finally a lady, who I believe is the store mgr, came to help to fix the price. She seemed to be the only person who cared to fix the problem and maintain the relationship with the client. I had been to multiple Urban Barn stores and all the previous experience I had was amazing and I don’t believe my experience today is systemic across the brand. But I just wish they could’ve handled the situation better today.

The staff at Urban Barn are awesome! The only thing that was hiccup was receiving an emailed message saying my furniture was ready for pickup and it wasn’t. The store was accurate in saying when it would be in; head office needs to line up their communication with that of the store.

I love Urban Barn and have always enjoyed the shopping experience at the store. I went in to pick up a an online order and could not find the email I had received. I had been contacted by phone to say that my order was ready and to come and pick it up. The associate that helped me did not seem impressed that I could not find my email and seemed to be bothered to have to help me get my order. She eventually brought it out but seemed annoyed. This was the first negative shopping experience I have had at Urban barn and can say I will not attend this location again.

The prices are a little high considering how much it cost to manufacture some of these things for example $30 for four ceramic coasters that were made in China where the cost to produce is pennies. But that seems to be a theme nowadays, overpriced Chinese made goods. I mean otherwise the place is very nice and the staff is very kind and helpful.

Excellent customer service every time we shop at Urban Barn, Oshawa. The staff at this location are wonderful, especially Pat. She goes above and beyond for us.

We always enjoy shopping at Urban Barn. Pat is very helpful extremely friendly and gives clients that personal touch that you don't get in most places.

The curtains are amazing!!! Excellent quality and hang beautifully!!! Every single staff member is outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable about every product! Definitely our go too shop ❤️

I really enjoy Urban Barn stores . Yes they have a great selection of furniture but I think they excel in their accessories , Which no one else seems to have. So different and unique items. I love it. Good store with helpful staff.
