Alex built me a beautiful and very specific cabinet and set of shelves for my home. I had a clear vision of some of the details I wanted and Alex worked with me to refine those and then brought things together in a way that was so much better than I could have hoped for. It was a pleasure to work with him through the whole process— he was communicative, kind, informative, and efficient. The pieces that he built for me are my favourite thing about my home.I’ll recommend Alex to everyone and am looking forward to working with him again myself! He’s an expert who obviously loves what he does.

Alex made a custom sized bookshelf that fit our client's dining room perfectly. He helped with a custom finish as well so we would coordinate with other pieces in the room. He was really communicative and delievered & installed on time. When we had a small custom stool we requested at the last minute he was also happy to help with that. We'd work with him again in a heartbeat!

Alex’s craftsmanship is incredible, so very talented. Attention to detail was impeccable. I have ordered 3 different custom pieces from him, each one of them so beautifully made. He was easy to work with, efficient and professional. His sketches were so helpful for me to see the vision of the pieces he was making for me. Delivered all the pieces on time. We had Alex to convert a heirloom table made of salvage wood into a modern contemporary dinning table plus coffee table set. We were very pleased with the outcome! Alex paid attention to details and took great care of our table, and managed the wood characteristics very well. Thank you!

Northbound Furniture and Alex were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Alex completely nailed our outdoor coffee table. We had a teak lounge chair that we wanted to re purpose - it was my Fathers and we wanted to keep it in the family. What Alex came up with went beyond our expectations. He came in on budget and delivered on time.He communicated with me during the entire process - all in all I would refer him for any project you would consider. We are now getting him to build a mid century modern desk for us.Northbound Furniture - BRILLIANT!!!

Alex built for me an end table to end all tables - beautifully finished using a ammonia smoker technique involving a tent and some patience. Really amazing finish to the wood. He was able to ship it across the continent and easy to assemble once it arrived. I definitely recommend his work, the furniture he builds is definitely one of a kind and will accentuate any room. Cheers!
