Running on a location and reputation from the past. Food was an embarrassment. We had the shrimp appetizer and understood after it arrived why the server tried to talk us out of it. Both pizza's over garnished and cooked. Location is nice. Completely over-priced.

We were there for brunch on July 1. There are only four breakfast choices and we tried three of them. They were different and well prepared, but nothing extraordinary. Service was good and the restaurant is right on the Rideau canal, so a nice peaceful view. One sour note was the parking opened at the same time as the restaurant, so the entrance was blocked by a car until opening so, unless you know about it, you will try to park elsewhere. We really enjoyed the food and the view. I was a little afraid seeing the views about the quality of the food especially with a baby but honestly we loved it we had no issue and we found Mediterranean options ( vegetarian) besides the view was awesome.Je recommande énormément on a passé un très beau moment la nourriture était bonne mais unpeu cher

Another fantastic Mother's Day lunch at the Ritz. We have been coming for several years now.The food is always fresh and tasty. The views are so pretty, in all seasons! And they've always been able to accommodate our large groups. Service has always been fantastic. Always a treat coming here. We will be back!

Went there for brunch with the kids on the weekend. Kids menu isn't big, but good portions and the kids thought it was tasty. We had the eggs benny and it was nice. If it wasn't for the bad looking grapes on the plate I may have scored them higher. Overall, nice food and great location next to the canal.

If you want to enjoy the scenery and drink, this is a good choice. I would not order any food. The taste is no good and the price is high. I wonder how more than 1200 people voted for it and it got 4star..

We went last night and ordered the large shrimp skewer app for 23$. We were served 4 regular shrimps (the pic has 2 cause we ate 2). It was pretty disappointing. We had an amazing server that was very understanding and offered us a free dessert. Her attitude and the views helped us feel better. We don't plan on returning due to pricing.
