I got my dog in May 2021, with a clean bill of health. In Apr 2022 when I went for ger vaccines and annual check up I was told that she has heartworm. What did go wrong ? She was on preventive meds for hearthworms , how did she got them? Now I am giving her a very costly and painful treatment for something she should have never gotten. I am going for a second opinion as I need to fi d out how she got them. I still have the empty box from the preventive meds which the doctor gave me.

I was recommended to this vet for my senior cat's dental extraction surgery.I first was very anxious and on the fence, but followed through with the surgery and am so glad I met this vet.He was very thorough, clear, and the follow up conversation was great.I definitely recommend this vet, especially for dental surgery. My cat had nasty mouth abscesses and dental issues. After surgery and antibiotics, my 16 year old cat is healed, happy, healthy, recovered and couldn't care less about the lack of teeth.Thank you Dr!I will be sure to spread the good review and recommendations,-Your clients from Toronto

DO NOT TRUST THIS DR!!!!! clearly just wants money and doesn’t care about our furry babies!! Had surgery with him, everything went well thank god but just recently found out ( from another dr that is amazing) that my dog has a heart condition. WHICH THIS VET DIDNT TELL US ABOUT AND STILL WENT ON WITH THE SURGERY. thank god my dog woke up from anesthetic because he could have KILLED HIM. ALSO, my dog has been having a reoccurring issue, which this dr doesn’t seem to think anything’s wrong. Thank god we took him else where ( same place that told us he has a heart condition) and is getting the help he needs. Absolutely horrific experience, don’t make the same mistake we did.. do your research AND DONT GO HERE!!

PLEASE DO NOT TRUST HIM!!! He is a liar and will do anything to make money and take advantage of loving pet owners. My parents have been taking our dog to this vet for years because of proximity. My dog has never had issues until this past month. We noticed his health declining rapidly, vomiting and sudden change in appetite. When my dog stopped eating almost completely we knew something was very wrong. The vet told us we needed x-rays where he noticed 2 large tumours in his abdomen. He could not confirm if they were cancerous and told us we needed blood work. He also mentioned ultrasounds and other test plus a surgery to remove the tumours (costing $1000s total) but again would not confirm cancer. He said he at least needed the blood work for that. He had also mentioned during a prior visit my dog had a heart murmur/age that could affect my dogs ability to survive a surgery. Now that my dog was sick, he denied ever mentioning my dogs heart murmur. We asked what our options were and he claimed he could not suggest euthanizing my dog because he was relatively healthy, not in pain and it was “his job to preserve life”. We received the blood work a few days later (btw he never calls you back when your pets need blood). He said the blood work wasn’t conclusive and we’d need the other tests/ultrasounds to confirm his illness. My parents and I were VERY skeptical so we got a second opinion from another vet. This new vet told us that it was clear from the x-rays that my dogs tumours for cancerous. He also said my dog had internal bleeding. From the bloodwork, this new vet said my dog also had liver failure. He said my dog was in a great deal of pain and the most humane thing to do would be to euthanize him and end his suffering. Do not believe any positive reviews on this man’s page. I’ve spoken with friends and neighbours who’ve had horrible and similar experiences with him. If you care about your pets, look at other clinics. This man does not care about your pets well-being.

I took my dog here because he was limping and appeared that his paw had a sore/cut on it, and my original vet was booked for the entire week. The doctor barley took a look and indicated that there was a lump on his paw that would need to be surgically removed and tested to see if it was cancer. He was quick to charge me for a blood test, when there was already one in his file, as well as various medications. I followed up with him and he said that the surgery would be $1100. This was alarming to me so I booked my original vet for the soonest date for a second opinion. My vet let me know that there was no need for surgery, as it was clearly not a lump but a cut on the paw that would heal on its own. I was completely shocked and could not believe this animal hospital was so quick to jump to a surgery that was clearly not needed. I strongly advise you get a second opinion if you come here and they tell you your pet needs surgery or various multiple medications. I cannot believe this happened and am so glad I got a second opinion. Saved me a lot of heartache and money.

STEAR CLEAR!!! We had a terrible experience, he recommended surgery that after visiting other vets was not necessary, which could have been life threatening for our dog. Seems to be very inexperienced.
