After selling a previous home for us in the south of the city in one weekend!!, we did not hesitate in calling him up again a few years later for his help in upgrading our condo. Now he has helped us in buying our new condo and selling our existing condo. Let's face it, the real estate market has been crazy, but through it all, Serge's knowledge, insights, professionalism and easy communication makes it seamless. We would like to take a few moments to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the remarkable support, help and work done by Serge Papineau at Real Compass.We were living in Sault Ste. Marie and felt we needed to be closer to family located in Eastern Ontario. We tried to look at various real estate online websites, but felt we needed to actually be there to get the vibe of where we wanted to end up.Through an acquaintance, we asked Serge to help us. We moved into a short term rental just outside of Ottawa and looked at houses with Serge.We are extremely fussy about where and what we wanted. We will be retiring in a couple of years and wanted somewhere close to our sons and young grand-daughters.Serge went above and beyond, showing us about a dozen houses throughout the area. We looked far and wide... Perth, Smiths Falls, Winchester and the Seaway Valley. Serge was with us from the start until we found our dream home in Morrisburg (see attached pics). Serge was available whenever we needed him (on weekends, in the evenings and on long weekends) with absolutely no issue at all. Despite our fussiness, Serge remained patient with us throughout, and that was so very much appreciated.Serge gave us the impression that what was important to us was also very important to him... at the end of the day it was evident that Serge simply wanted us to be happy in our new home. Serge even generously gave us a beautiful housewarming package, which was a most wonderful gesture.Serge also recommended a real estate lawyer; the sale and paperwork was explained to us in layman's terms, it was easy to understand, and the closing was seamless.We are absolutely convinced the purchase was made easy by Serge's passion for his work, but more so, and most importantly, his passion for his clients, making sure that they absolutely love the place they are investing in.If we could rate Serge on a scale of 1-10, he would get top marks every single time.
