Friendly Lenders Pawn Store

Recently stopped by- hadn't been here in years! Staff were friendly and welcoming, more than happy to show my Husband and I a few items we were interested in. Bought a sterling silver pendant that I absolutely love for a fair price. Friendly Lenders is clean and organized- with a showstopper fishtank at the back.

Came into this place about 6 months ago. Was in town and found myself a few bucks short to make a very important purchase. Had a tactical knife that was a piece of kit from my tours overseas. Never been into a shop like this before and figured I would see if the knife would get me the funds in needed.When I explained my situation the fellas there quickly let me pawn the knife for the money I needed. We chatted about my career and I gave them a little history on the blade and where it had been. I believe they helped me out out of a combination of my obvious need for the extra cash, respect for another person and honestly they just seemed like good guys. That went a long way with me and I owe them this review as a thank you. Oh and when I went back to get the knife it was just as I had left it. It’s too bad they weren’t in that day because I would have liked to thank them.If you want to deal with honest and good people go here. They will treat you with kindness understanding and respect. If they can help you they will and will be upfront with you if they can’t I suspect. Not sure I’ll ever need to go to a pawn shop again but if I do it will be this one. Make it your first stop as well.

Poor business ethic, very greedy and judgmental towards people of different ethnicity. Watched the owner treat someone of his own ethnicity very kindly only to treat me. A man of different ethnicity. Very poorly. It’s 2023. Racism should not be a thing. We’re all HUMAN.

This a company with great work ethics. They are not about making people loose things rather they make sure they work with you so you can still go home with your belongings. I have dealt with them at least a year. I will never go else where again. I trust them and have never lost anything by them. I recommend friendly lenders to everyone. Stone Cold here! I've been dealing with this lender for 5 years now. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and ready to accommodate. Their not only providing a service in the community they are actually interested in coming to know their clientel. Heck! I even ride with these guys now on warm spring/summer/fall evenings. Not too many lending shops have such decent and friendly staff.. I am glad their in my hood!

As soon as I walked in to the store I was greeted with kindness and professionalism, I need to pawn some items and they gave me fare price and we're honest with market value on items. Customer service was very good and helpful. I would recommend this store and there staff. I will be coming back. Thank you friendly lenders for helping me out in timesof need.

Friendly lenders sure does live up to their name.I had gotten a small loan from them ( could have gotten more ) from a guitar amp and I never came to pick it up. They had marked it at a fair price and put it on the shelf for anyone to buy it and they ended up charging me only $7.50 per month interest amazing guys friendly for sure!!!BEST PAWN SHOP IN EDMONTON THANKS KIND GENTLEMANS

I pawn here when I am in bind, and also store my motorcycle here and boy am I glad I go here. The rates they give me on my jewlery are amazing, and the price for the indoor secure motorcycle storage is second to none. I HIGHLY recommend this pawn shop. I really appreciate the customer service they provide me, they really live up to the name Friendly Lenders.- Dave
