This is a small intimate theater. The group really care about theater and the audience. They really try and make the evening special. Offen the actors and back stage crew come out after the show and meet the audience. Cost is very reasonable per show. Most shows sell out. So book tickets early.

This is a lovely little theatre in Uptown Waterloo. It's very close to King street if you want to go out for dinner before a show, or grab a drink afterwards. There's no parking at the theatre itself, but usually plenty of street parking (or you could park a few blocks over at Waterloo Town Square and walk). They program an eclectic mix of shows, all performed and created by community members. The theatre itself is quite small, which means the audience is very close to the action. It is a somewhat flexible space, meaning that the audience could be sitting in traditional bleachers, or could be surrounding the stage, depending on the show. They have a small bar and concession stand for intermission, and a play library that audience members can peruse during breaks. This theatre has a very warm and cozy feel!

Great venue for local dramatic productions. I've been involved in productions renting the space and I've seen productions there before and the venue has been great on both occasions. They also have gender neutral washrooms which is fantastic

This performance of Zastrozzi was absolutely brilliant. This incredible performance was a testament to the magic local theatre can provide when all the elements of competent writing and dedicated actors coalesce into a riveting, intriguing and thought provoking performance that has left me awestruck. Well done. Thank you. More please!!

Love this little theatre! It seats about 60 so there are no bad seats. The seasons have a good variety with musicals and family friendly shows to more serious dramas. It's also licensed so beer + theatre = fun

This is not a review of the play. The venue was extremely small and I was forced to sit adjacent to the stage and behind the band which was a very big disappointment considering we had purchased our tickets weeks prior and felt there would be guaranteed room for us. There was even a family of 4 who had arrived with 2 very small children who were forced to be seated separately so me and my girlfriend felt bad and moved for them which only further reduced our view of the stage and made us uncomfortable. The view was so bad we asked if we could move our chairs and the owner suggested we sit right in front of the only exit out of the theatre. Clearly a fire hazard but ok. The drinks were extremely expensive as well despite being just canned alcoholic beverages (no cocktail or draught). Given the fact that entry was $20+ and there was no room, terribly uncomfortable chairs, and safety hazards - I would not recommend others to come to this venue for their plays and I would suggest director's find other places to perform.

We bought tickets to see a kids magic show and this was our first experience at KW Little Theatre. This is a very cool little place right in the heart of Uptown Waterloo. Free parking at the lot at the corner of Erb & King, within a 5 minute walk. The theatre itself is very cozy" but has a nice atmosphere. We aren't into the "theatre scene" but I'm glad to know there is a small place in Waterloo catering to those who are. My recommendation is to find an excuse to check this place out."

Very intimate theatre experience. Love the venue and the feeling of being transported into the lives that are being played out on the set. All the actors, directors, behind the scenes people, ushers, volunteers and front counter staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They make me feel like a part of their family.
