Alforat Iraqi Street Food (Mississauga)
This is the place to go for kebabs and sandwiches. I LOVE the Iraqi Street style of food. Everything I've had at this place feels like it's made fresh and with so much love. The kebabs are mouthwatering and you can never have enough of their Lamb or chicken samoon sandwiches. This is a gem for Mississauga. The owners and staff are very nice and accommodating. I would say this is my go to place for kebabs in this part of Mississauga.

4/5 highly recommended to try family bbq platter($90 a bit pricey as compared to meat size). awesome customer service, authentic iraqi taste, fresh breads, complementary tea and soup, juicy kebabs, scrumptious hummus and garlic sauce... 100/100. Thank you Tara, Fatimah, Yusuf, and Fahad for the excellent service.

An exquisite experience. This place serve one of the best and authentic Iraqi food in town.Their service, food quality, taste, portion size and prices are all wonderful.We'd ordered Lamb & Chicken Shawarma, Family Plus platter and a Bef Kabab wrap in Saaj bread. Everything was cooked well and we were offered complimentary Iraqi tea at end.It was a great experience and we would highly recommend this place.

We went to Alforat 2 times now. The service was great for a small crowd. But we went along with a group of 18 and during rush hours so the service was not great. Actually they tried their best but the experience was ruined. Food was good. The first time it was just amazing but couldn't keep second. I would say meat was so tender.

There's always a lineup when I drive by this place so I had to try it. Absolutely delicious food, a lot of places now that serve similar food, seem to under spice it this was not the case at Alforat. The lamb samoon we ordered was fabulous, juicy and loaded with flavor. The lentil soup was also fantastic. The staff were friendly, and for a fast casual restaurant, the service was attentive. Will be back.

Despite an issue with the restaurant's air conditioning on a scorching hot day, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Alforat.Food:The mixed shawarma family platter was so tasty, fresh and generous that we were amazed!Service:Exceptional! It was a terribly hot day and to accommodate the guests, the staff set up tables outside and did not miss a beat on serving quickly and effortlessly.I highly recommend you try this Iraqi gem in Mississauga. I can't wait to come back to try some specialty items!

Was in the area and decided to give them a try. The place was busy even in the middle of the day. They were taking reservations so definitely do that if you are planning to eat in. We were lucky and were able to get a table. You have to order at the counter. Since it was our first time, the cashier was really helpful in making recommendations. Food came out really quickly and the waitresses were really attentive. They kept asking us if we had everything and how the food was. I would definitely order the lamb. It was so flavourful. The chicken kabobs were so juicy. It was my favorite. Would definitely come back and try more of their menu.

This new Iraqi restaurant is a necessary stopover if you’re a rotisserie meat lover or never tried yet. From the complimentary starter of freshly baked samoon with lentil soup, you will be feel comforted instantly and willing to try more of their great foods.I specially wanted to try the rotisserie chicken with rice and it was not disappointing. The chicken had good crisp skin on the outside and juicy tender flesh on the inside. For me, I would’ve liked better with generous seasoning as it tasted bland.Rice complimented well with garlic sauce, however the salad- tabouleh was disappointing as it didn’t taste fresh and had an unpleasant smell to it. Hopefully they can improve on it and prepare fresh salads as they make meals more enjoyable.

I haven’t had Iraqi food for over 33 years. I was raised on it as my grandmother used to cook all these dishes. Friend of mine told me of this place and this place brought memories of names and surfs from my childhood. Was funny feeling as I never associate euthanasia anything related to my past. These plates and spices brought to my afternoon. Tried several dishes and they were good and filling. Service was great and generous. Will visit again to try bigger dishes. Great job but no Farida beer lol
