I have edited this to a 1 start because after repeated conversations about notification when the bis is late nothing has changed.My son has been riding a dreams bus to school for 4 years now. The staff are wonderful. The reason for the 3 stars is the severe lack of communication with parents. My son just waited for an hour for his bus. I was finally advised when I called that the bus was stuck. We just had a big dump of snow so I get it but the fact that I have to chase them down for updates is infuriating. They need to come up with an app or a way to communicate with parents in real-time so we are not sitting around for an hour +, being late for work. It's lucky I am home to see my kid off and that he's not out in the cold waiting for a bus that doesn't show up

Although we don't use the service, a recent incident by one of DREAMS Transportation drivers does concern me. My spouse uses Access Calgary on a regular basis and during one of his regularly scheduled pick-ups, a DREAMS' driver pulled up behind the Access Calgary Bus and began to honk and scream at the Access Calgary Driver. This continued with foul language and shouting. My husband sat waiting to get into the Access Calgary Bus perplexed and shocked by the behaviour. I'm just wondering what type of training and supervision the drivers receive and if this driver is having a bad day, how are the children passengers being treated.Note* I am giving this one star strictly based on this incident and can not comment on anything else related to this company.

These guys need to learn how to stop for pedestrians just saw a driver creeping up to a pedestrian walking across acrosswalk on 68th.

Quite positive there would be more student riders if Dreams waited at stops instead of speeding by them. Best of luck!

Buses from this company are an eyesore when they are parked long-term on residential streets. They impede sightlines and take away space from local residents and their visitors. Commercial vehicles should be parked in commercial areas, or at least on the owner or driver’s personal driveway, rather than in front of private homes (like mine). I’m disappointed that this company doesn’t take the initiative to be good neighbors.Edit: It’s not my job to solve this company’s parking problems. Why don’t they know where their buses are parked? A directive should be issued to ALL drivers to adhere to Calgary Parking bylaws (72 hours max - the bus in front of my house rarely moves more than once a week!) and to minimize impact on neighbors.
