I recently purchased an Australian saddle from Outback Saddles and am very pleased with both the product and the service. Before ordering, I exchanged numerous emails with Amber. She always replied promptly and she answered all my questions. I sent her the wither tracings etc. for my horse as well as my own measurements. The saddle arrived quickly and fit both me and my horse perfectly. I would buy from this company again and I would definitely recommend it.

My horse is a very difficult horse to acquire a saddle that fits. He is just this side of a draft, 16.2 H and 1400 pounds with a slight shay in his back. I cannot begin to explain the many trips buying saddles that NEVER fit. Ugh! So imagine my fear of ordering a saddle from Canada. Amber was so very helpful, the saddle came complete…all you need is the horse. LOL The saddle fit PERFECTLY!, and the cost was more than reasonable. I have friends who have spent several thousands for their saddle and their’s is no where near as nice as mine! My horse also loves his new saddle, the change in his personality is fabulous. My saddle is so very comfortable. Literally I could ride all day long, and that is saying something since I am 70 years old. I HIGHLY recommend this company AND Amber…you will not regret it!!! It will be the best experience for you and your horse!!!

Amber went above and beyond helping me find the right saddle for me and my horse. Outback Saddles are a gem, well-made and beautiful. I love that a flockable trail saddle is an option. You will always be able to ensure that the saddle fits your horse properly, so their back/body stays healthy. I purchased the Outback Poley and my husband has the Brumby Poley. Our horses have very different wither outlines. With wither tracings, and Amber's assistance, the saddles arrived with a perfect fit. Thank you Amber!

Great company, very knowledgeable and takes the time to get the fitting, preferences and measurements correct. Only had the saddle a few weeks and several compliments from other riders and trainers that have seen it! I have a draft mule that was hard to fit and now I am able to confidently trot, canter and go further distances and miles without fear of shifting or causing him any pain or rubbing.

I highly recommend tha Bad Dog Ranch for all your Australian tack needs. Their customer service is superb and you can be assured you’ll get a prompt response from the owner or staff. I have bought saddles and tack for both my light and Draft Horses and the quality and the workmanship of the leather is excellent. And, if you happen to be new to Australian tack and saddlery, they are fabulous with answering questions and helping you make any selection you may need for your particular horse or activity.

I am extremely with my Bad Dog Campdrafter saddle that I purchased from Outback Saddles. My horse required a special fit and Amber was able to adjust the gullet and flocking in the surge panel for a perfect fit.

They have been great to work with and customer service has been amazing. Amber was fantastic at helping me get everything ordered and measured correctly. It did take a long time to receive the saddle as I ordered right after they had received a shipment, but they were great at giving me updates. The saddle seems to fit my horse perfectly on initial assessment and quality seemed good, but before we had a chance to really try it out, a rat got to it and chewed the billet straps off one side. War has officially been declared on said rat. But I was devastated. Amber said that was no problem to fix and had a return label sent to me same day. Repairs have been made and saddle is shipping back this week. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any tack in the future from this company.
