Kal Tire

Kal Tire is located at 2825 Sheffield road and Walkley road. As the name suggests Kal Tire specializes in tires and they carry a wide selection of the best tires available. I bought my Nokian Hakkapeliitta winter tires with steel rims there for my winter driving and love it. These tires bite the road in snow and ice better than other tires I have known. I also bought their Pirelli 3 season tires and had them put on my OEM aluminium rims and feel safe in them as well. The service is fantastic at Kal Tire and you feel they are doing their best to serve you at a fair price. In addition to tires they also provide other car services and do very good work. They dont overcharge for things you dont need to have done. They fixed my transmission 3 years ago and I havent had any problems with it. They also provide complimentary air pressure and torque checks on your car tires.I also like that Kal puts photos of their technicians on the wall, that includes recognition of their work. Seeing this makes me feel the technicians working on my car are qualified and that Kal values their workers.I recommend Kal Tire to help you for your automotive needs.If you like this review give it a thumbs up. friendly staff and they did a good job changing my tires! my car also was not dirty afterwards like it is at other shops so that was very nice to seetaking a star off because everyone there seems very frazzled and rushed. Staff had to be taking phone calls (putting the phones on hold though), fielding questions from other people and doing other things while getting me checked in and out. I am not mad, I get it's a busy time but I like a more relaxed environment when dealing with my car. Even in the garage area it seemed to be very stressful and fast and I was worried something on my car would get missed or not done right. But I was happy it was done well

Got my Tesla Model 3 tires changed here twice and both times they did a great job but also made sure to carefully pack the tires in the car. Very much appreciated. The admins are always super friendly as well.

This is my first time using this service, so my rating of 3 stars is not due to poor service or rude staff, in fact, the service was excellent and the staff is very friendly. The reason is the technician did not (ignored) follow my instructions.Before I handed over my key to the receptionist, I left a note with a instruction How to park my car correctly" on the steering wheel.In the end

Had a low tire pressure warning come on. Remembered this location just off Walkley Road by the 417. Greeted with a smile, all the staff are friendly. Vehicle was ready just a bit past what they said. Which was still great since it was late afternoon when I arrived. Pulled a nail out of the tire which was causing the problem. Great experience, great service/staff.

Great service, Went in today to replace both sway bar links on my car was in and out in 2hrs. Also have dealt with them in the past for winter tires and they had got me brand new tires for a great price and was also in and out in no time, the staff in the shop sure know how to do they’re job and they do it well. I recommend you go to kal for all your car needs they will treat you well.

Service was as expected during the tire change over rush. They are busy. A little more communication about the issues they were having removing the winter tires would have been nice so I would have known it was taking longer but yet again they were busy. Will be back.

Great first experience! They were all very helpful, good at communication and all seemed to enjoy working there. Will go back again when needed :)

I couldn’t have been more pleased with this experience today. At 8:15am this morning I was quoted a $305 wheel alignment (plus a potential extra $60 inspection) from a ‘first come’ major box chain store, for a possible late afternoon appointment, but the car was to be left there for the entire day. After speaking to several other places with appointment dates 4+ days later, a Kal Tire agent worked me into a 5pm same-day appt (without even knowing my urgency), they promptly took it in on-the-hour (the parking lot was completely full), and done in less than 1/2hr, for LESS THAN HALF the cost of the first quote. The front staff were all very pleasant.

They do good work, but they tried to sell me on an alignment test over the phone when I made the appointment to swap my tires. They used to check alignment for free and only charge IF it was needed, otherwise I'm happy with them.
