Dogs Crossing

My dog was a client of Rachelle's and crew for 7 years. He was a fearful and aggressive little dog (without teeth) and Rachelle was patient with him and made sure he knew his place. Eventually he made a few dog friends. He went out with them every Friday for seven years! I work at home and every time they came to get him, I'd wake him up and he'd perk up and run over to the basement door to see if they were there. He'd do this even if it wasn't Friday. When he saw them, his tail would wag, his ears would drop, and he'd sit down in front of them and wait for his harness and leash. He was an old dog by the end and Rachelle, Emmily, and Jacob would use their judgement to either keep him on leash or let him roam around off-leash. When they took him to the truck, they'd pick him up and let him ride in the front, or sometimes they'd put him in the back. They always helped him up and down cuz he was just an 18lbs dog. Jacob always said he liked to hit the mud and puddles. If he came back dirty and I considered that a sign of a successful adventure. Over the years he stayed with them while I was on vacation and I got pictures of him on adventures, him snuggling in bed, him wearing a made-to-measure sweater. Honestly I couldn't believe this fearful aggressive dog was snuggling with dogs and cats and bunnies! I'm sorry I don't have a dog anymore so I can send it out with Dogs Crossing and support a local, small, woman-owned business. (The picture is from Dogs Crossing. Harley has been with Dog Crossing since he was a puppy and I wouldn't trust anyone else with him! Rachelle was Harley's trainer when he was a puppy and as he got older, he joined on their pack walks.Harley loves going on his weekly walks with the pack. He loves seeing his friends and getting to socialize with them on a beautiful local walk. I appreciate how diligant, caring, and experienced everyone at Dog Crossing is. Harley loves Rachelle and all of the dog walkers. I know that Harley is in good hands whenever he is with any of them. I love the pictures that I get of Harley on his pack walks and the little notebook of notes that they leave after his walks. It truly is a personalized touch that I am very thankful for.I would highly recommend Dog Crossing to anyone that is looking for training, walking services, or day care for their dog!

During our intake meeting with DC's owner Rachelle, her experience and professionalism were on full display from the first minute. Since that first meeting, we have had the pleasure of getting to know the rest of DC's team members and, without exception, they have all been phenomenal with our dog Gus. Like many other cherished animals, Gus is not merely a pet but a member of our family. My wife and I are able to deal with our busy work lives day in and day out without worrying about Gus' well-being thanks to the care and dedication that are consistently demonstrated by DC. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

The Dogs Crossing team is absolutely wonderful and they are the only people I trust with my pup! We use their boarding and pack walk services and my dog, Charlie, is always so excited to see them! We also did training classes with Rachelle when we first adopted Charlie.Every member of the team takes care of Charlie as if he were their own. They give me peace of mind when I have to travel for work because I know my boy is in good hands. I highly recommend Dogs Crossing. I do not know what I would do without them!

My pup (Chewie) and I attended the group obedience classes at Dogtopia Coquitlam hosted by Dogs Crossing. The class was very beneficial and informative. It taught us the basics but the best part of class was to practice the teachings at home. I would highly recommend any new dog owners to attend this class as the instructor Rachelle is a top notch trainer and committed to the success of every puppy to graduate her class.

I've had such an excellent experience with Dogs crossing! The team is super communicative and go out of their way to accommodate you. My dog always comes back super happy from their walks and he loves all the walkers. All of them are super kind hearted and friendly and I'm so happy I chose this service. Special thanks to Rachelle and Jacob who boarded Gordon while I was away, took him to his vet appointments and helped me with paperwork that needed to be done while I was away. Totally went above and beyond!!

Tio has been with Dogs Crossing for almost a year now and he loves it! He gets so excited when he is getting picked up. The team has been amazing as Tio has grown from a very anxious rescue to a more confident young pup that loves his pack buddies! Don't know where would be without them!

The Dogs Crossing Team are terrific, dependable, and have been an invaluable part of our lives for the past two years. Our dog, Olive, can be reactive with other dogs, and we know they will always choose the safety of the dog before anything else. Although I am rarely home when they come by, I know Olive has bonded with any of their walkers who come by, and we look forward to a continued partnership.

Ashley was fantastic! My new rescue Leo is quite frightful and sensitive to the world and hasn’t been getting along with my current dog, Tiger. But Ashley really gave me insight into his behavior and what some of his actions could mean from a dog’s perspective. She provided great tips and offered a wide range of exercises that we could use with Leo and Tiger. And we’ve seen huge improvement from both of them already! I’m so grateful for her - it’s definitely made my day to day a lot less stressful. I would recommend to anyone who’s in need of some guidance!!

We've had Quila with Rachelle and Dogs Crossing for almost 5 yrs now and not sure where'd we be without her and the DC team. Rachelle helped with Quila's aggression issues towards other dogs as a young dog and that's translated into four years of pack walks with DC and many different dogs without incident. She hires amazing walkers that Quila recognizes as their truck pulls up and she heads to the door to wait for them. Both our dogs enjoy all their time with whomever is taking that day. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Dogs Crossing to anyone who has a dog looking for either behavioural guidance or the occasional pack walk to keep up their doggos social graces.
