Great place to find books and surprisingly board games, everything here is a bit over priced though. I think the biggest downfall is, before when we had Chapters downtown they use to host events and stuff to celebrate exciting book releases and interact with the public, now it feels like they couldn't care less as long as they suck literally every cent possible out of you while giving you the absolute bare minimum. Over $1600 for a baby stroller? What is it made out of? Endangered white rhino horns and pandas?

I went looking for a very specific type of book when I went and they had it. I was pleasantly surprised. However it's gone from just book store to almost department store. lots of unnecessary things in my opinion however the selection is huge.

Such a huge bookstore, and the most pathetic language section in Victoria. I dunno why but this bookstore feels soulless. Like if pinterest moms designed a bookstore. Still, sheer size and the multitude of books makes it worth a visit.

We loved looking through the entire store. I looked at gifts ware while the kids go lost in books. There are so many unique and interesting items you won't find elsewhere.

This is a great place to go and lose yourself in the life of books or shop for a sweet gift for that special person in your life. They have books of all types, board/card games, puzzles and even home decor/kitchen ware! Lovely place and you can easily get lost in here for an hour! My favourite section is the art/notebook/agenda section, plus all that stationary!

this store is supposed to be an anchor and yet it sets its own hours and closes earlier than the mall. As other reviewers stated, hard to find staff or ask questions and theres only one door, the other exits are blocked. store hours are not posted on the exterior wall. just a closed gate. No clear info when a coffee shop will reopen in the back which was the appeal, and mixed info who. Also yeah why is 3/4 of the store not books? if I wanted overpriced pens or pillows or cutting boards I would look elsewhere.

I just made a purchase there today. When I got home and had more time to check the receipt, I realize they charged me 25% more than the price listed on the back of the book for multiple books.I called to try to talk to somebody at the store, and no answer. I will not be shopping there again.

It's a lot bigger than I expected and it got overwhelming incredibly fast. There were a lot of cool things, but I didn't really enjoy the experience of such a packed store.

Chain stores can be hit or miss in terms of service, but I've never had anything but good experiences here. Also, their kids section has a wonderfully diverse selection of books, which is a huge plus for me.
