Best Western Downtown Sudbury Centreville

Is it possible to put zero stars? This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. In fact it was so bad I didn't even stay for my visit. The parking situation is terrible for guests as there is a small lot across the street often taken by people not even staying at the hotel and located in an unsafe area. The room was not cleaned and wreaked of smoke. It was not prepared for any guests to stay in. I did not personally feel safe in this hotel or the area outside of it. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever visited and recommend you choose another hotel for your stay in Sudbury. I have stayed at many Best Western locations before and really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, this terrible experience has really changed my opinion about the brand. I will not visit any Best Western hotel location again.

This is my second visit to this hotel, the customer service is outstanding and the hotel always feels welcoming and safe. A very comfortable and clean stay! I am always impressed with it has a great complementary breakfast. The beds are also really comfortable. The rooms have all essentials and the temperature of the room was also great. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Incredibly friendly staff, approachable, and no issues with service whatsoever. Location downtown is convenient as I was doing work nearby, free parking was excellent as everywhere else seems to be a hit or miss and very expensive fees. The jacuzzi tub was relaxing and quite spacious the room we had for the weekend.

This place is amazing! If you're coming to Sudbury, you have to stay here. In the heart of downtown close to all amenities, safe parking, walking distance to entertainment an night life. Rooms are safe, clean, bug free! The staff is very warm and welcoming. My stay here was wonderful!

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. This hotel is a complete dump. Desk agents even warn you that there is a high chance you will get mugged or worse if you go outside the building after sundown. Rooms are gross, multiple issues shortly after check in. When brought to attention of desk agent, he stated the general manager inspected the room. I understand things can be missed, we are all human but the state of our room was unacceptable for best western standards and for a general manager to have “inspected”.. Sudbury or not. Sent email with photos and issues to general manager. Got a copy and pasted response . I tried to contact GM over a week and a half nothing…called again, she said would call back.. never did… then almost an entire week later received email from ops manager stating he spoke with housekeeping and I was not getting anything to compensate. It’s in head office hands now… for anyone heading that direction, stay clear of this hotel!! Will never recommend.

I wish I was able to give this hotel zero stars. This was the absolute WORST hotel I have ever been to. It was disgusting. I felt so unsafe and disgusted that I left with my partner within 15mins. There is no parking except for a very small lot across the street that is also used by others around the area and that parking space did not feel safe at all, I am very positive that if I would’ve have kept my car there it would have gotten broken into. When you walk into the main lobby, it smelt absolutely awful and did not look clean. The staff working at the counter were extremely rude and unhelpful. When my partner and I were checking in, the worker seemed extremely annoyed that he had to help us. The elevator was dirty, run down and seemed that it would stop working at any second. When we got to our room, it reeked of cigarette smoke even though it was a no smoking room. The room was not clean or ready for any guests to stay in there and was extremely small, not as it was displayed and described on the website. When we went back down to the main lobby, the worker didn’t even seem surprised that our room smelt like cigarettes. When they gave us a new room, it was just as dirty, still smelt and was not clean. I did not feel safe staying in that room or hotel AT ALL. We immediately grabbed our things, went right down stairs and told the worker that we were not staying in the hotel and we’re leaving. They did not seem surprised at all that we were so upset. I have stayed at other Best Westerns before and I have never had anything like this happen before. If you plan on staying in Sudbury please DO NOT stay at this hotel. It is unsafe and not clean nor welcoming.

Stayed here for a week and I enjoyed my stay. I felt safe and welcomed. Customer service was great and the check in was easy. The hotel was very clean and breakfast had a great variety.I would highly recommend this hotel!

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM after 1:30 am. They will charge you more sometimes twice. The housekeeping woke us up and tried to get in when we’re not checked out.

Check in was fairly easy. They give you a free wifi password but not the name of the network. There was a little bit of guess work there but anyone technically inclined should be able to figure it out. When I got to the room, there was no soap/shampoo/conditioner but the gentleman at the front desk was able to provide some easily.The parking situation is unimaginably terrible. For a hotel that has 100+ rooms, there's probably about 25 parking spaces. If you are planning on having a late evening out, good luck finding a parking spot when you come back for the night. Parking is free at least.

I wish i can put something less than a start for this place. My experience on this place after 7 days staying in, is very easy to describe in one word HORRIBLE, never again. I was stuck in my room for 2 days because the hotel did not cleared the snow after a snowstorm, they kept lying to me that the snow was going to be cleared even after 24 hours of the snowstorm, it was a horrible experience, the front desk staff is not friendly. Simply i don’t recommend this place to anyone, horrible location homeless going into the lobby , scary that at the middle of the night a fist fight was happening on the 3rd floor. I had to walk to work in that area in the middle of the night while my car was parked in the parking lot of the hotel not able to drive it because this irresponsible place doesn’t care about his guest or to look after their parking. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
