Capital GMC Buick

This is our experience from Buick Capital.I came in for a multi-point inspection on March 3, 2023 and they serviced my vehicle and gave me the all clear and told me no issues. Only concern they noted were lugnuts too tight and they replaced them. Just to note, my vehicle only has 55,000km on it. One week after inspection, I noticed that my windshield washer was no longer working and I came back to the dealership immediately to have it checked on March 13, 2023. They made me wait from 9:30am to 12 noon and there was still no diagnosis. By then I was tired of waiting and went home. 15 minutes after getting home, the service advisor from Capital Buick called me and reported:“washer nozzle not operating. Tech tested the washer pump and found the pump not getting 12V. Checked fuses and relays and confirmed those are still good. Tech scanned the vehicle and watched data and washer switches and found washer switches not sending a signal. Jump pin 6 at connector and found the washer was operating to confirm no wiring issues. Recommend replacement of turn signal multifunction switch.”They told me they could service my vehicle and fix the issues for an additional charge of $270 which I refused. I have a strong suspicion that the service department at Capital Buick sabotaged my vehicle. Because, I had recently visited the servicing department of Sherwood Buick/GMC and I showed them the diagnosis that I received from Capital Buick. The service department at Sherwood followed the diagnosis and replaced my turn signal switch but this did not fix the issue. I requested another diagnostic test from Sherwood and they found that my washer pump relay was missing. And their report was:“Washer pump relay missing. 1.70 supplied estimate per request. Removed steering column trim, removed and replaced wiper switch, reinstalled column trim. Checked operation. Washer system is still not operative. Requires time to diagnose. Accessed washer pump, tested power and ground. No power to pump. Checked power at fuse. No power to fuse. Tested circuits at bcm. bcm grounding normally but the relay is not clicking. Removed glove box, removed side panel, sound insulator. Lowered fuse block to access. Found washer pump relay missing. Installed a new relay. Checked system operation multiple times. Good. reinstalled all components. Verified operation. Good.”The service department at Capital told me that they did not touch or tinker with the windshield washer of my vehicle and yet they refilled all the fluids. Highly suspicious and unprofessional behavior from the service department in Capital Buick. I urge others to be wary of this modus and watch out.

Manny and Darien were a delight to talk to and deal with. I’m from Calgary and wasn’t satisfied with the dealerships here (Toyota), so looked up Edmonton. I have already recommended this dealership to others. Thorough and straight up and straight forward, no questions left unanswered, no conniving. They treated you as a friend. Wow! We came in, just to take a look at some trucks. My future Husband And I met Raza who came Out to greet us. We found a truck that we loved but also a little hesitant. He was pleasant and friendly and very personable. We didn’t feel pressured in the least to buy a truck from him. He made the experience non stressful and super easy. I had an outstanding experience! I had been doing research about new trucks for a while, Manny was up-front, honest and transparent with me from the moment we met. He was extremely accommodating and even met us after hours so my husband could come and see the truck after work. The customer service we received was OUTSTANDING!!! I have been looking for Hummer H2 for a long time and finally glad to get my hand on one at Capital GMC Buick.I bought with an understanding that it’s a 2003 car so wear and tears were expected.Darien, Eric and Arash have been helpful with their promises in fixing some issues on the car. Grateful with their prompt response and promises to fix the car. But then actions speak louder than words. To be fair, they did fix some of the minor issues.There were some disappointing and troubling items, which were the roof mounted dvd system and controls on the steering wheel. They came as features advertised for this car. However, further inspection revealed that this roof mounted dvd system and controls on the steering wheel were not functioning. The shocking part was wires and cables to the dvd system were intentionally cut internally so they were not due to wear and tear. Darien said there’s only that much he could do and this was something he couldn’t make thing right so this is a bit disappointing. This came as an upsetting shock that such thing can happen from a reputable company like Capital GMC Buick.Then we compromised to replace the dodgy dvd system with a dome light.I’m grateful, thankful and blessed that the professional service team went through the trouble to fix the dodgy dvd system with the dome light after getting the parts.Anyway, love the work that the professional service team did on my Hummer. Here’s the before and after pics. Very impressive workmanship as you can see from the pics.Guess it’s buyers beware.The one star is really for the Hummer.

My dad and I had such a wonderful experience buying his vehicle here . Raza (sales specialist) and Jaskarn (the finance manager )were so pleasant and made the the whole process stress free. Raza was very thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this dealership!
