Water Q Spa & Sauna

After being to several spa and wellness centres, this one was an interesting one. This place is well kept and clean, but if you don’t speak mandarin it is hard to communicate. For starters It was my first time but no one gave me a tour of the facility and the differences of each room. Secondly I book a scalp massage, and I thought it was be a relaxing experience but the gentlemen did not use any oils or solution to help make the experience relaxing. The whole time I was feeling as if he was pulling my hair and rubbing the same spot multiple times made it really uncomfortable. So I just finished the service and took a shower. Normally I would see lotion on the counter to use but here, it does not exist. Also the omni escape rooms next door has some loud music and you can hear it though the volcanic sauna room which wasn’t pleasing to hear. Anyways paying $75 was not work the money what so ever

Clean establishment and I liked that you can use the dry saunas after (but they’re mostly occupied and not super hot)Was my first time here but I wouldn’t go back or refer or recommend a full body massage from here . Definitely inexperienced masseuses , basically just put oil on you and rubbed it around . Something your partner could do for you , probably better. Meh .

Very clean and comfortable

Had the 90 min Chinese massage. Came out feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Much needed after a long week. They have 5 thematic sauna rooms with different temperatures. Service was excellent.

I had a great experience with an amazing supervisor and the staff. They have greeted us and helped us with the smile faces. We were so happy to stay with this hotel and will suggest everyone whoever visits jaffna.

Excellent Massage. Jack is the best. He’s nice and professional and gives amazing back massages. I have back and shoulder pain and he relieves the pain. he alway knows where my back is tight and uses the right amount of pressure.

LEGIT Deep tissue massage spot with no shadiness! My wifey and I have been coming here for years. I sometimes come along after a tiring day at work. Have had over 10 different masseuses and all are pretty damn good. I would say Water Q holds their masseuses to a pretty high quality standard. Lily and May are my 2 go-to’s at the moment.Speaking Mandarin is definitely a bonus to communicate with the masseuses but not absolutely required.I like super hot saunas but the hottest of the 5 themed rooms is about 70•C so that is my only complaint.

Got the 1hr chinese massage. It was good not what I expected but still good. It's more of a lymphatic drain massage than a deep tissue massage.The rock rooms are unique. I think the hottest one was 84.C it was ok. Definitely a place to relax and chill in the heat if you are into that stuff.Washrooms are clean.Showers are ok, some of them are missing soap so probably have to bring your own. They recommend you shower before going into steam rooms.

I used to go to this place multiple times. Today we booked the massage way ahead, but at the time we got there the receptionist said “no room available”. When we ask her if she could do something about it, she stated that she is rather to lose 3 costumers then do something about inconvenience they caused. Neither me or one of my friends we get in to this place from now on. Really bad customer service.

Pretty good place for Sauna. Not many people around 1pm
