Hour Movers

We used Hour Movers for our move from a one bedroom condo into our new house. Mike and Clint came on time, they were professional and hardworking, quick problem solvers, and they showed great care in moving all of our belongings. It was easy to book a time for our move, they were responsive to our questions, and their original estimate ended up being very accurate. This is such hard work, and I was happy to pay a fair price for their high quality service.

I had to move my elderly mother twice in 5 days and this company made a very difficult situation better. I was able to book them for a couple of days after I called - they were so accommodating. Both times they moved her stuff up the stairs rather than the elevator because it was faster and would therefore cost me less. Aidan was there for both moves and was amazing. He was so sympathetic with my situation and extremely fast and competent, as were the guys working with him. They shuffled their schedule to be able to come sooner because my mother was getting anxious, and called to let me know when they were on the way. In short, zero complaints and big gratitude to them for their great work and professionalism.

I moved 8 times in my life & never have I ever experience a move such as this. These guys have it figured out in the moving business. They get it done right and they get it done fast! Immensely respects their clients time, professional, super friendly and affordable. Got all my belongings up 3 flights of stairs on this hot Summer’s day & still killed it with a positive attitude. I recently moved into a new building from an old studio apartment. I did not have much to move, just a few pieces that I could not fit in my car. There was an adjustable bed and mattress, recliner, desk, chair and a table. While a bit late due to traffic, the guys called and let me know. The move out went quick and I headed out to the new place. Once there, I went in with a trolley of stuff I had with me and discovered that the power was off in the building due to some work being done to finalize the electrical. That meant no elevator. When Aiden and Johnathan arrived a few minutes later I let them know what happened and that BC Hydro assured me it would only be about a half hour before power was restored. The guys did not want me to be charged for just waiting around so they moved my furniture in via the stairwell to the 2nd floor. As they moved the final piece up the stairs the power came back on. They had not hesitated, did not complain at all, took great care of my things and wrapped up quickly. I would not hesitate to refer people to their care. Job well done. To the manager/boss of this company, these guys are gold.

First time I have used this company, and I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed. They were so careful, wrapped the furniture well with blankets, no scratches, just perfect service. Showed up right on time and they were courteous and pleasant. Highly recommend !

Joe and his team at Hour Movers were fantastic. We had them move one very large couch across the city for us and the team was very friendly and professional. It was noticed when our couch was delivered that there was slight damage, and their team quickly rectified the situation by coming back and retrieving the couch. Joe personally repaired the damage (which was discovered to have potentially not been caused solely by the move) and deep cleaned the entire couch for us as well as it is a white couch and had gained a couple of dirt marks through the two moves. Would certainly hire again.
