I came into the store to handle and compare a few guns that I'm planning on purchasing. I asked the guy behind the counter if he had any experience with any of the guns I selected. He quickly replied They're all the same." I asked a couple more questions and he kept saying "They're all the same." I quickly realized he doesn't care about customer service and that me even being in the store was an inconvenience to him. I will never ever buy anything from this store because of the "They're all the same" guy. For context

Unpretentious little firearms store on the west side part of Richmond BC. Pretty good selections of short (select good quality handguns) and long guns. Sufficiently run by few knowledgeable multilingual staffs. Honouring price match against any local or national deals (some restrictions apply)

I would have giving a rating of 0 if I could have.I opened an account and placed an order for two 10/22 mags on the website and paid for it. I get an email confirming the order. Then I get another email saying sorry the price just went up do you still want the order. I called them and said yes. Then he tell me I have to send me photo ID ? I cancelled the order and would never order or recommend the store again. Worst store I have ever deal with.

I bought a pistol June and I ask for processing every month and been told that need wait and now they told me can’t not transfer.

This was my first time buying from West Coast Supplies and I was pleased with the experience that I had. I was looking for a Surefire SF3P-556 flash hider (1/2-28 thread), which was sold out in all of the firearm stores that I checked in Alberta. Fortunately West Coast Supplies had some in stock.I reached out to the store by phone on Oct 7th to confirm they had one ready to ship. The gentleman explained that an ID verification was needed for credit card transactions, which is totally understandable in order to prevent fraud. I sent a photocopy of my ID by email, after securely sending payment through the westcoasthunting.ca website. Within a half an hour I received a notification that the order was processed and packaged up to be shipped out the same day. It arrived in Calgary a few business days later.Rest assured to the others looking at the negative reviews for West Coast Hunting, they certainly aren't scammers and from my experience they were pleasant to deal with. I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews. However, after personally reaching out by phone, I realized that some of these negative reviews are likely due to miscommunications or overreactions on the customers behalf.Thank you West Coast Hunting Supplies, I'll be back to shop on your site in the near future.

Found a Magwell for a pistol I own on this site. Put it in my cart, entered my info, it quoted me shipping and tax. I entered my CC information on what I assumed was a secure site, including CVC code through Google. Done deal right? Apparently not....Recieved an email a couple of days later.....Said that I had been charged the wrong shipping when I checked out so needed to contact them to pay the difference..... Ok ... but here is the kicker. They wanted me to email a scan/photo of my credit card front and back, along with an ID that had my address on it. I was told the reason was they had been a victim of fraud recently.... Hmmm let me think.. Send all my personal info to a store I had never done business with before through an unsecured method. Not sure who would have ended up being the fraud victim? Buyers BEWARE... something is up here. I politely declined and requested they delete all my personal information that they obtained through their website. Hopefully no one is shopping with my CC info right now!

Took my PAL courses with them，my firearm instructor is a wonderful gentlemen，very helpful staffs working there

Great guy working there, I callled in asking about .223 rounds and .223 bore snakes and they put it aside for me and was very informative. Also very polite will be back again 100% recommend going here
