Cafeoca Brazilian Bistro

Came across this place while hunting for a decent - and preferably independent - coffee shop while passing through North Burnaby. I had a decaf Americano Misto and it was pretty good, but pricey at $5. Very smooth, with a bit of an earthy tone. Not as full-flavoured as I would have liked, but an extra espresso shot would have remedied that. My companion and I shared a couple of their truffles, and he loved them, but they were too sweet for my taste.The space itself is quite large, closer to what you'd expect of a small restaurant. I love this part of Burnaby and would probably be a regular if I lived in the neighborhood.

Ordered via Skip:* Empadão (chicken pie) $9.50* Coxinha (Chicken), Empadinha (Hearts of Palm), and Brigadeiro $10.99* Shrimp Empadinha $4.75Split everything between two people and we had half a Coxinha left over.The Empadão was great. I love cheese, but it might be too much cheese if I ate the whole thing.The Coxinha was disappointing. The filling seems to be the same as the Empadão, but it was drier.The Empadinhas were okay. Excellent coffee and Brazilian food specialties. This is a cosy spot to spend relaxed time, alone or with friends.

It has to be more selection.

Very high quality Brazilian snacks, pastries and authentic Feijoada! Super nice staff and reasonable prices. Coffee taste here is 4/5 to my taste but still great quality coffee.

Excelente place for who miss home (Brazil) and to try something new. Very good price for Metro Van too. Good variety of snacks, Brazilian fruit juices, options of coffee and Feijoada (Brazilian beans+meat stew) at the weekends lunch.

Accidentally noticed this store, walked in, placed order, AND.It was a very good experience, place is cosy, foods are special and cultural, stuffs are so nice and friendly.Cheers to this diversity country and city! We can taste the original favors from different countries and communities!

Very good brazilian place. The feijoada is nice, the coxinha is good (and big!) And the brazilian coffee is the best I had here in Vancouver so far.

Hidden gem!!! Excellent spot with delicious Brazilian flavours.We had coxinha and empadinha and delicious Guarana soda.Excellent service by two young gentlemen with great customer service skills.We had to go back again!!!
