I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone who uses legal aide. Salim is very dismissive and rude when it comes to you telling him what to do. (Which is what lawyers are supposed to do. Do as they are told.) He lost my trial to a person who didn’t have lawyer which is definitely unheard of! He will blame you for his loss when it’s the lawyers job to win your case not yours why legal aide pays him. He also lied to me stating that I couldn’t appeal my court order and when I got a second opinion from another lawyer, that lawyer told me I was able to appeal the order within a certain time slot. When I told Salim this he than went on to say he said this to me when in fact he never did. He literally lost my case and dumped me. Not professional in any way. My friend was going to use him because of me till I recently told him not because he is a lawyer who really doesn’t care for his legal aide clients. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Money hungry. Mixes his cases up. In court he blamed me , to the judge, mind you, for himself not submitting documents by the deadline. Which was untrue. He also told me if the case was lost it would be myself and the judge to blame. No Salam-- you're just a lousy lawyer.

He is the worst lawyer you can use. Do not approach. He talks about himself and outside of anything to relate to your case. Thinks legal aid isn't real money. This man should not be allowed to practice law as he is completely impossible to speak to and states his 20 years of practice means something but made decisions without even knowing the details of our case. This man should be disbarred. I will be making complaints to the board as well. My child deserves a much better representative. Pathetic.
