The best tailor shop in Nanaimo. All of my jeans are repaired/hemmed in this place and I would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a tailor shop that provides quick service & great pricing.

A friend ordered a very simple white summer dress for her wedding. They Guaranteed they would have it ready the day before the wedding. I confirmed with 8 ways to Sunday it WOULD be COMPLETED and was assured any last minute touch-up (if needed) would only take an hour and it would be ready. My friend went to pick up and was told, it's not ready, pick it up tomorrow. The day of her wedding !!!?? I was working so sent someone to meet her who demanded they honor their promise and finish it. When they went back to pick it up it was suggested my friend try the dress on one more time to which the owner adamantly said NO! My friend hates confrontations and despite the other friend telling her to try it on decided to just take it and go. Day of the wedding, sure enough they screwed up the dress and it didn't fit at all. It went from being just slightly too big in the bust to too small to even do up. Thankfully, I anticipated they were going to EFF it up and brought a pretty white skirt with a nice top as back up. Still it was a disaster for what was supposed to be a beautiful memorable wedding day. NEVER GO HERE! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Terrible service, absolutely awful staff. Had them replace 3 buttons on a hoodie, not only did they completely ignore my reasonable request for a close as possible match with the orginal buttons colour and shape, but they outright refused to listen to me when I returned to explain their error and request they fix the issue. Instead they waved me off, refusing to do anything about it outright, even when the buttons they replaced looked absolutely nothing like the buttons they had sewn on. Green is not brown, and high-gloss is not matte, I don't see how any tailor worth anything could managed to bugger that up and then charge 15$! Will not be returning, and I advise avoiding this shop at all costs.EDIT: Shop owner is a liar, I gave them the full 3 days to do the job, I did not agree to a quick repair fee. And specifically asked them to find buttons to match, which I was told they might have to order, which I agreed to, however this was not done and I was returned an unsatifactory product. You can clearly see how bad these owners are with these responses when they lamabast their customers with insults instead of trying to correct the reason they were left.

I have been using Stitch Korner for many many years. Their excellent care and quality put into every job!From general wears to critical dress, from my husband’s shirts and pants to suits even at the most reasonable prices in Nanaimo area. Thank you guys!!

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT !!!!Flight lost luggage. Ran into Wal-Mart to buy pants and took them here to be hemmed. Got them washed and the hem came undone !!! Took them back to have fixed and charged me $7.00 to fix them. Are you kidding me. Haven't even worn them yet. When I picked them up, he denied they were the ones that did it in the first place. Even with the claim stub and receipt.Then called me a liar to my face.Great service!! With the crap that he puts out and the service he provides, surprised he is even still in business.

Definitely the best tailor shop I've been to in Nanaimo. Wonderful, quick, and affordable service. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. I brought my grad dress in to get altered and had no idea what I was doing. They helped me to decide what needed to be done and did an excellent job to make it fit perfectly. They're a family run business that gives people the attention, quality and value you can count on.

I had two boat cushions covered and they did a fantastic job! I will definitely use their services again for all my sewing needs and will recommend them to friends and family. Great prices too.

I brought my bridesmaid dress here to be taken in here for an upcoming wedding. They were kind, quick, and reasonably priced, I would come back again :)
