Great place to get groceries especially on their 10% off Tuesdays. Very good selection of meat, chicken, fish etc nice big, clean well lit store!

Not in a good neighbourhood.Nice to have a Save-On- Foods in walking distance. However, it is located 1/2-1 block from less salubrious stretch of Pandora Street between Vancouver and Blanchard Street, to the west of the main entrance, in downtown Victoria. The neighbourhood in the evening is stretchy, dangerous.If you are driving, there is underground parking off of Vancouver Street with escalator/elevator access to the store.The store layout is familiar and the grocery selection is excellent. The staff was helpful and professional; I appreciated that.A good produce, bakery and deli department. Meat and fish prices are comparable to other local grocery stores. (I used my $50 Christmas gift card!)I like their selection of ready-made sandwiches and meals; fast and convenient.Self-checkout stations available. Clear and comprehensive COVID-protocols in place including mandatory face masks.Pre-ordering and curbside pickup available.The area is in transition. Lots of new high-rises being developed within a couple of blocks.Save-On-Foods Pandora is a significant addition as a full-size, full-service grocery shopping experience in downtown Victoria. The neighbourhood is pretty hard core, the edge of Victoria's version of Vancouver's Down Town Eastside" (DTES).Be aware and happy shopping."

The staff are not trained...they have no knowledge of mathematics or the money...real money.And your security guards...better check their backgrounds.When I get threatened by the one that was on at Pandora at approximately 3:30 on Sunday February 19th. Well just let me say that this store is beyond me.I have spoken to the manager before and well I can see exactly what he does...trust me folks He is getting alot of benefits from the government.Now he will have to explain one customer who usually drops about 35 bucks a month into that store.People go elsewhere this place is not a good place to go to get groceries. Avoid at all money costs.And oh yeah if their security could hand out tickets in the underground parking...jeepers Victoria police could make their quota in less than an hour...BIG white STOP...guess they stopped teaching that in drivers education?

i love this store so much, it has everything i need at somewhat good prices but i bought a prepaid ceaser salad and when i got home found out it doesn’t come with dressing and i am so tired and sad and that ruined my tummy salad night cuz i don’t have dressing at home.why would i pay 15 dollars for a salad that doesn’t even have dressing that’s so dumb…

I've never lived so close to a grocery store as I do now, and it is really good and smart. They have almost everything i should ever need or want. It's very clean and employees are very helpful. Thursday evening, the lights dim for low sensory shopping. Safe underground parking and even charging stations.

The manager and security guard are rude to customers. Security guard filmed customers without their consent and was aggressive towards anyone who questioned what he was doing. Security hid his name tag to avoid being identified.

A couple weeks ago we went to purchase an instore made ham and pineapple pizza but those were all sold out. Staff employee Sheena in the deli said no problem and made more for the shelf and found us in the store to inform us. Thanks Sheena for going the extra mile. Much appreciated!

I do enjoy shopping here, the only gripe I have is when I try to get cigarettes, there aren't enough cashiers on so they just close it. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, it could be 6:00 pm or 9:00 pm. I truly wish they'd get more help, other than that and the high prices on some items, I do like it there. Everyone is friendly and the sales are great too. Thanks for letting me give my opinion. Laura

A great little grocery store. Convenient parking underground, friendly and helpful staff, well stocked store. Security guard was friendly, helpful and kind. Produce was fresh, and as reasonably priced as produce gets these days. Would highly recommend and will return.

Security guard Mark (old and white) was harassing, filming and berating a customer when I stopped to ask if he worked there because he was hiding his security label and name tag. Spoke to manager who was rude and condescending. They blamed inflation of groceries on people who steal….. this is false and harmful information to be spreading. Wish i could give zero stars, I’m appalled by the behaviour of the save on foods staff.
