This restaurant was recommended to us by my boyfriend's aunt, who has been to the region and had a meal there. The food was delicious, and the staff, very accommodating. The proximity to the hotel we stayed at for our celebration, made it quite accessible. No complaints, other than the bread they served (brought to the table) was sub-par to the bread offered at their toasting station. Prices weren't bad, either.

The view was just amazing but not as much as the food which is absolutely delicious. We were warmly welcomed there and had an excellent service. The decor is vintage in a good way. I completely recommend.

Excellent place to stay. Very cozy and warm atmosphere, the rooms were very spacious and very clean. They had a balcony with an amazing view to the Saint Lawrence river. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Great location. Will definitely go back!

A must stay!Every room has a view. Best views from the second or third floor.Breakfast is a must. Self serve toast on a fire. Restaurant has rustic vibes with delicious options and favorable portions.Staff is kind and welcoming. A very homy feel.

Reviewing the restaurant only. Great food, well executed. We spent a great evening in the presence of Michel, our server. He has been working at the Auberge for 39 years, he’s a true gem. I would definitely make another reservation when back in the region.

Absolutely adore this bucolic little place! The auberge is an old building with antique decor, gorgeous view all around and the food served at night and for breakfast never disappoints. The staff is super friendly as well! I’ve been there twice and will go back again for sure next time I plan a getaway to Charlevoix.

Eating here is an out of this world experience. All ingredients are locally sourced, everything is prepared at the auberge, they even smoke the salmon and grow herbs themselves! It’s delightful.

We loved our stay. We went in September as we were heading back from the east coast and decided to take the North Shore back! (we crossed St. Lawrence on the Ferry). Wow! A great comfortable stay. Clean, and the restaurant was outstanding. There was a wonderful spread of fresh cheeses from the Charlevoix region, warm fresh bread, tender meats, and excellent service. Both our dinner and breakfast were outstanding. All plates were beautifully presented and delicious. A gem!I look forward to returning.

I cannot stress enough how good the food was at this restaurant. If you’re in the area I highly suggest you stop by to grab some thing to eat. the entire menu was spectacular!! my first six star rating!

This place is a gem. I was staying there for three nights to escort a family member to Domaine Forget de Charlevoix. I cannot say enough about how the staff at this hotel are friendly, helpful, professional, and 'family like'. They schedule your breakfast and dinner in half hour increments so the restaurant is not crowded and everybody who eats gets the awesome view and ambience. The food was incredible and very reasonably priced.The hotel appears to be older, but in an upscale stately way. The rooms are large, and the view of the St Lawrence River amazing.Note: I needed to stay an extra night, and that was not a problem at all for the hotel even though they were pretty heavily booked.
