My partner had been raving about this place for months, so when I finally had the chance to try one of their sandwiches I had pretty high expectations.First off the staff here were wonderful and friendly.Secondly this sandwich was incredible. The bun was fresh and tasty, as were the quality ingredients used on their hoagie sandwich.This sandwich left me feeling the perfect amount of full for a lunch time meal and would absolutely recommend you checking it out. This is a real gem of a sandwich spot for Ottawa.Looking forward to trying other items on their menu in the future.

One of THE best sandwich shops in the city. We really enjoyed the Cuban sandwich from their daily special menu. The pulled pork was perfect in texture and taste, and the bread was soft and delicious. Definitely a huge fan!!!

Discovered a sandwich shop!A wide variety of sandwich and breakfast options offered. They make their own bread and have many choices. Toppings were nice and fresh, and they have a lot of different sauces to try.Got the crispy chicken deluxe and the grilled chicken. Both were good! Prices were good. Lines were a bit long at lunch.

What a fantastic sandwich place! Fast and friendly service, lots of choices, portions are big and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the hoagie.

Shorty's is the best! They have amazing, friendly staff and their sandwiches are so tasty. They make their buns in-house and they are delicious. Always slingin' fresh ingredients, too. So good. Court's Club and the Chicken Parm are a couple of my favourites.

Best sandwich shop in Ottawa! I usually go in the early afternoon so there’s no line and I always get exceptional service. My girlfriend loves the veggie delight and I usually switch my order, but I always love it!

I've been to Shorty's a few times over the past few months and have always enjoyed whatever they've made for me. I stopped in yesterday morning and had the greatest breakfast sandwich I've ever had - Becoming The Boogeyman". Can't recommend it enough!"

Never disappoints! Great sandwiches, lots of selections, toppings. Order online ahead and they are always ready regardless of the lineups. Far and away my fav sandwiches in Ottawa - there once a week! El Rancho on jalapeno bread is exceptional!

Let me start with saying that I don’t usually like sandwiches... and my mind was absolutely blown! It was so good, the service was super quick even though the line was decently long. They’re so efficient and kind and simply make it a great experience. I had their daily special on Thursday - a crispy chicken in spinach wrap. WOW it was great. All the ingredients were fresh and crisp.Honestly you can tell when someone loves what they do, and everyone at the shop seemed to love being there.Thank you for a great lunch and experience. I’ll be back!

Shorty’s is an awesome shop for a good lunch. The only reason you won’t like something is if you don’t like that particular ingredient. Everything is fresh and delicious. My personal favourites are poutines with the daily special meat (pulled pork, meatball, etc.) with bacon.The breakfast options are also great!
