Always get a great cut from Ruth. Takes her time to check how the last cut went and to plan for the new one. Very accommodating. Online appointment system is great. Covid protocols are excellent! No hesitation recommending this salon

Ruth magically made my fine hair look thick. Not bad since I thought I was going bald. Not a bad thing but I'll wait until her magic doesn't work any more before I shave my head and embrace my baldness.

I went to Hairsoda for the first time this past July and had a fantastic partial highlight (blond) and haircut experience with Ruth! She was so gentle with my hair, the colour turned out fantastic, and I really liked the cut. I visited again for a second time a few weeks ago, and had another terrific experience. Thank you Ruth -- I'm so happy to have found a Northshore salon that I truly enjoy!

I don't like getting my haircut and have walked out of salons crying more times than I can count, until I booked in with Shawn who did a beautiful job on my long hair! He did no more and no less than I asked, and even took the time to perform a maintenance technique that tackled all my split ends. I prefer fast cuts so we skip the wash and the styling and the products - he never drags out the experience longer than necessary. Thank you Shawn! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, talented, yet low-key stylist.

Been going exclusively to Hairsoda for a few years now, and Shawn always delivers the perfect cut and highlights exactly how I've requested. He takes extra care in both the colouring and cut process and is the only person I will trust in Vancouver to deal with my curly hair.

I have been going to Hairsoda for over 3 years now. Despite me moving further and further away, I have no reason to ever consider another stylist because no one has ever styled my hair as good as Shawn has.I first met Shawn when I volunteered to be a model for a cut. Shawn pointed out to the other stylists many features of my head, and problems that might occur if it was cut a certain way. The issues he pointed out (hair sticking out in the back, not falling right on the head, looking bowly, etc) were all things I had encountered and fought with before. He cut my hair in a way that alleviated all of those issues because he intimately understands how each person's head shape needs to be considered with a cut.Shawn also was there for me on my wedding day, styling my hair outside of business hours to make sure it was perfect for photos.Their online booking process is a breeze, so I can always plan ahead to ensure I get an appointment at a time that works with my schedule. Shawn is always on time, never has a client running late into my appointments, and always takes the time to do a perfect job.
