Our old (1953) house shifts seasonally, and when this happens the back door sticks - sometimes to the point of being unopenable - and the front door won't fully engage the deadbolt. Vortek sent Matt who expertly fixed both of these issues for me, and also installed a new security latch on the back door, corrected the exterior front storm door so it closes properly, and made thoughtful recommendations about further steps we might want to take in the future. Personable, efficient, completely professional, and an excellent problem-solver. I would not hesitate to recommend Vortek, and Matt is a treasure.

I have used many renovation and construction companies over the last 30 years for both personal and business purposes and I can say, without hesitation, Chris and his team are the best I have ever worked with. They had competitive prices, they kept quite close to the promised schedule, and they kept me apprised of unanticipated additional costs as they cropped up, so there were no surprises by the final bill. Each member of the team was knowledgeable in their field, pleasant to work with, and respectful of my family and my property. We are so impressed with the quality of workmanship by Vortek. If we could give them more than five stars, we would! Vortek’s crew were on time, they cleaned up as they worked, they were pleasant to have in our home, had good manners, *AND* they did a great job replacing our doors! A little backstory I bought a new house and there was ongoing issues with front door awning leaking water and now there's mold and with the builder not willing to fix anything or saying that it was my fault because I have a very big aquarium in the house I had to open cases with home warranty that didn't help either because they kept siding with the builder about my fish tank and the humidity problem I thought that enough was enough and paid out of my pocket to hire someone to be with me when I have to meet up with the builder and the home warranty so that I don't get pushed around with misleading info so I started hunting for a contractor that I can hire and and Chris from Vortec was the first number I called and we agreed on the time that he came over looked at it took some pictures and gave me a report on what is happening and what needs to be done to this date he is still helping me out with all the meetings if he thinks it's necessaryOne more thing at first I was kind of iffy about Chris he doesn't look like a very aggressive/outspoken person as I wanted someone to help me I thought he would stand by and just listen to the builder and home warranty LOL was I wrong he literally challenged home warranty and the builder every time they said something that he believes or he knows is wrong he made sure I did not get screwedThankchris

The gentlemen who came to do the repairs for water leaks coming in from my attic during the winter were extremely professional, knowledgeable and kept me apprised of what they were checking for and locating all of the problems that needed to be repaired.This is the first time that construction people have made me feel confident in what they were doing. I hired Vortex construction to build a bathroom for me from scratch in my basement and it needed to be done fairly quickly as my mother fell ill and could no longer take care of herself. They went above and beyond for me, always on time, communicated any issues and stuck to the quoted price. This wasn’t the first time I used Vortek nor has it been my last. If you need a new fence, definitely give them a call! Highly recommend and if they can’t do it, they will refer you to someone who can.

We have had Vortek Construction come to our home twice now to help us out in a big way with water damage. In both cases, they rolled with the surprises that they found, kept us informed of the entire process and changes that needed to be made, and in one case, finished everything in a turnaround time of 48 hrs. It's not always a pleasure to have to call them, but I know that if I do, it will be a pleasure to work with them: everything in like new condition when completed, and a professional and courteous crew.
