Children's Dental Clinic Regina

I took my son for his first dental visit today and he loved it. This is not how I remember the dentist when I was younger and it was such a positive experience for him. The staff were all friendly and helpful and our dentist was professional but also very geared towards interacting with our child. When we were done we called family to tell them how exciting the dentist was... It was a great experience for our child. It was more expensive than other dental offices however they told us that on the phone and there are signs everywhere so that wasn't a surprise.

My kid had a surgery there. They do everything in rush during the kid's anesthesia without telling you which plan they have. The had told us my kid's front teeth will not be taken out, however, after surgery, saw the doctor coming out with a few teeth in a plastic bag including the font teeth. I was wondering why they can not take an X-ray before the surgery and discus the treatment. Later we wanted to book an appointment to do a clean up there, they rejected us due to a note being left under our account to avoid accepting my girl. If you can not do your best do not hide it behind misunderstanding.Do not propose this place.

Took my kid here, she's only 3 years old and I figured they were experts in children. They didn't even try to get her to sit or give her their full attention and 2 minutes later they left us to go do another patient so I had no other choice but to leave. With children you need give them your full attention from start to finish otherwise you loose them. Won't go back.

After taking my 3 year old elsewhere for a second opinion this place turned out to be the best bet. Grasslands dental botched her tooth for sure. I went back to children’s dental and she had the tooth extracted, a crown on another, and a spacer in. All in less than an hour (with gas). They did amazing and thankfully with lots of preparing my child handled it will. Def will stick with this dental office for future concerns and I should have stuck with them the first time around!

Made an appointment for both of my kids to be at the same time, had to reschedule once and a found out that they didn’t even make the appointment for my one kid, so redid it and when they called 3 weeks later to confirm appointment for both my kids, they once again did not have the information for my one child and no appointment. No record of anything, the one receptionist was super unhelpful. They called me 3 times, and finally I called back and had one reception understand the frustration of giving your child’s information over the phone twice and not having record was a huge red flag for me and we figured it out. Had to go in at 2 different times but definitely disappointed in the one receptionist. First terrible experience there but it said a lot.

We loved Dr Bo at the clinic and the staff. We took the kids there for 6+ years until we moved. Fantastic place.

Never forget to discuss with them the dental plan for your kid in advance so you fully understand what’s gonna happen to your kid and how much it’s gonna cost you. Otherwise you’ll surely get a shock.

Son got a large dental procedure done. Had to pay a deposit for more than the difference my insurance company was going to cover. Then took them a month to pay back the difference. Got a run around everyime I called and excuse after excuse. Trying to get back money THEY owe is like pulling teeth!¡ And before the owner comes and says it's dependant on when insurance pays, my insurance paid them almost a month ago as well. So made my insurance aware of what's going on.

Children's Dental Clinic asks you if it would be OK to pay a little more than your family dentist before making an appointment. The main focus from the first communication with the clinic and onwards making money from your child who is in pain. Do they really care about choosing the best treatment for your child?! There are FIVE dentists listed on their website and somehow" FOUR out of FIVE of them live and work in Winnipeg and not in Regina. The only dentist present in Regina is Dr. Bo who is the money making boss as she owns the building and seems to be as little caring as possible with poor bedside manner. I have hard time believing she really likes working with children. Adults would have hard time with her approachability let alone children. The clinic is not clean. For one dentist to have at least 10 child patients in 1.5 hours is not an ethical treatment. As long as the clinic charges you at least $800
