I almost don’t want to review this gem of a campground. It’s a bit off the beaten path and no cell service which I love. But it’s stunning. If you’ve never experienced this side of Vancouver island you need to add it to your bucket list.

Went here for my 60th birthday with family... and had a blast! The official campground attendant lady that rode around in her cart to collect fees and check up on everyone was awesome... always quick to smile, chat and send a friendly wave in our direction.

Dont expect to be able to enjoy your music during the day in your campsite, also plan on not talking in your campsite after 10 pm. enjoy waking up to crows at 5 am cawing in the trees. Do not forget to totally pack up your campsite any time your not at it as nothing with a smell can be left out as they frequently have bears wandering through campsites but are too much of tree huggers to relocate or euthanize. The beach was good though.

Beautiful private sites surrounded by old growth to give you the privacy. There is beach access trail (about 1km to the beach) from the campsite. Clean outhouses and friendly ice/wood service.
