Unfriendly experience when calling about a GM vehicle coming from Ingersoll for a shipping status update to my selling dealer. No way to track vehicle online using the vin # either. It’s 2022, 95% of auto carriers have this feature. Very disappointing.

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle in the USA and shipping it to Canada. Needless to say, I was nervous during the whole process. Oakwood was referred to me by a friend who had used them in the past. Although I had other competitive quotes, I chose Oakwood. EXCELLENT experience. Excellent experience! Having my vehicle shipped to Florida for the first time I cannot say enough about what a pleasant experience it was dealing with NICK the driver who called me before he arrived and made arrangements for pick up and subsequently called before delivery in order to make arrangements for drop off! Vehicle arrived dirty but without so much as a scratch! I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to anyone looking to have a vehicle transported!

They were the shipping company for my vehicle through a broker, US Canada auto transport.The brokerage was awful and when I tried to get help from Oakwood, Brian was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. All in all I had to pick up my own vehicle at a stop point in Detroit, as my car sat in their yard for 10 days before even leaving. While complaining to my brother he also said he had a terrible time with them.Buyer beware!

We did the snowbird thing with our suv. We were a little nervous but it all worked really well. Lisa answered all our newbie queries. An airline-forced scheduling change was handled without a quibble. Paul, the driver, was great. Friendly, professional and easy to work with. The car arrived at the early end of expectations, and he kept us posted en route. Covid caused us to try this, but skipping the grey, cold, weather-risky drive south makes the cost look pretty reasonable.

Needed a 1974 F250 delivered from Kapuskasing to Port Perry Ontario. One of my customers recommended Oakwood transport with high regards for the job.From first contact with their office to delivery of the vehicle they provided nothing but top notch service.Hats off to Wayne who delivered my truck, he spent extra time calling to keep me up to date on his schedule due to weather conditions and also gave me a run through on what he learned about the truck as I purchased it sight unseen. From the pickup to delivery communication was constant and spot on. Called us at the airport before we boarded to confirm car made it through customs, called day before to tell us what time they would be delivering and called just before getting to the final destination with no waiting time. Great first experience with this company, picked up a 1966 mercury we had shipped to Michigan from Phoenix Arizona, they picked up the car and brought it to London Ontario from Michigan. Mark the driver was great, called and explained he cleared customs and would be at my business the next morning to deliver the car, showed up early and went over the inspection with me. Great guy very friendly and professional. Will definitely be using them again for all my shipping needs.
