Personally I love the kimbap from here, perfect take out food! Also they have a great selection of Asian pantry food. As someone with a Chinese background I have found it hard to find certain niche items here in Comox Valley, but I love getting the rice cakes from here and they have a big selection of rice cakes!

Skeptical at first when restaurant is hidden inside a gas station but the food is good and authentic Korean. Also loved eating Korean fried chicken with the hands! Hidden gem.

Super delicious Korean food with lovely, friendly staff, hidden away in the back of a gas station. I'm from Vancouver, and boy is it ever hard to find delicious authentic Asian food in Courtenay/Comox on a Sunday! Seems like most restaurants are closed on Sundays here (just an observation, not a criticism). My takeaway only took about 20 minutes to prepare. I got beef bulgogi, bibimbap, spicy kimbab and the seaweed and glass noodle fried rolls. Everything was extremely tasty and fresh!

Great little place to get excellent Korean cuisine! Tasty Korean fried chicken is our favorite! Also a small grocery store with Korean and Japanese snacks, cooking ingredients, and drinks! Hidden inside the Esso gas station in comox, this little store is our favorite!

We have only had Korean chicken a few times before and the Garlic & Pepper Eatery did not disappoint…the pieces were huge, excellent crunch and supper tender!!! The pork dumplings were very good. Friendly and fast as well (20 minute wait)…Worth the wait!!!

So absolutely delicious! Puts everyone else's chicken to shame. I really love the snacks and condiments, I usually have to go to Vancouver to get some of these items. Highly recommend 10/10!

We finally got to eat from Garlic and Pepper! We ordered the kimchi fried rice, Yang Nyum with sweet sauce and the spring rolls.The chicken pieces were HUGE and the sauce was perfectly sweet with a touch of heat. The batter was so crunchy and we received two drumsticks and two boneless pieces.There were 6 spring rolls and the fried rice packed the container.We also got some snacks and noodles from the grocery which we are excited to try!We will be back!!

The fried chicken and bibimbap were delicious! Cute shop with lots of yummy snacks and ingredients too. A hidden gem that will definitely become a regular spot!

Small Korean grocery and food shop, tucked inside the Esso. Had the bibimbap, glass noodle rolls, and fried chicken. Loved it all and the service was friendly and quick. We will be coming back!
