Shred-it

Very disappointing not to mention, inconvenient 'service' from these folks. The salesperson was almost aggressive in her approach for me to sign the agreement, and once I did - 3 weeks ago - she never followed up and didn't arrange for 'operations' to contact me for a pick up date. We now have 140 boxes sitting in our bay, taking up valuable space. No one has called me back about this. I suggest calling another company and saving yourself time and aggravation. I wish I could have posted zero stars.

Excellent customer care every time they come into our office. Professional, kind, and dynamic are just a few words that describe the type of people that work for Shred It.

Very easy to deal with. You contact them by e-mail and a phone call follows very soon after. They create a quote and if you're happy with the quote, arrangements begin for date and time. We were invoiced on a Sunday, and their terms are net-5 days. Why send an invoice on Sunday, a non-business day, if terms are 5 days? I recommend you discuss this with the CSR before finalizing. Overall, the experience was excellent.

Excellent company they excell at customer service they are the leaders of mobile and off site shredding business. They treat their customers and drivers with the out most respect. Unlike Wasteco Shredding(Dixie Recycling), who do they total opposite all they care about is how fast and speedy you can get the run done fails to deliver on their AAA NAID Promise. I really liked working for Shred-IT. I used to work for them back when it was called Cintas Shredding 13 years of long service with both company's combined. Good job, Shred -IT.

I use Shred-It at my office. I find the pick-up drivers to be very professional, helpful (if necessary) and friendly. If I require an extra pick-up, the staff when I call is also very friendly, professional and helpful. I would highly recommend Shred-It.

The worst customer service. Not sure if your speaking with someone in Ontario, United States or in another part of the country. If you sign a contract there is so much red tape to cancel. Sent numerous emails to cancel and yet they have NO record of my request to cancel the monthly service. I'm still waiting to hear back from the account rep. LOL.Very disorganized no one communicates.

Took awhile for the company to assign an account manager to manage our account but once someone was assigned everything went very smooth and quick.

We have been dealing with Shred-it for the past 10+ years. Had no problem with them, except for this year. I called to enquire about the pricing and the timeline. The sales rep told me it will be a certain amount per bin and if we want them to drop and pick up at a later date, they will charge $80.00 extra. And the timeline given over the phone was about 3 weeks. I agreed to the terms over the phone and signed the contract. After waiting for 3 weeks, I called to ask for the bins drop date and I was informed that they are backlogged for up to 8 weeks and I would have to wait for 5 more weeks. Anyways, the bins were dropped and a pickup date was fixed for 5 days later. No one showed up on the fixed date and when I called, I was told that my pickup was moved to a week later (with no information to me). Finally the bins were picked and I got the invoice. To amaze me it was double the price for which the contract was entered into. I disputed the invoice. After waiting for 2 months my account was sent to collections (without any answer to my dispute). When called back about the collections notice, I was told that Sales rep refused to give any discount. Very bad customer service. Never going back to Shred-it.Wish I could give them a negative star.

This is a review for the Mississauga location. TJ and his team were extremely helpful and friendly. Answered all questions I had and provided excellent customer service. Will be doing business with them again based on this experience - Thanks TJ and team keep up the great work!

The two crew members were very helpful, courteous and professional. They helped make our community shredding event a big success! Thank you for the excellent service.
