BMS just completed a complete and comprehensive re-piping of our Strata on Robson Street in Vancouver. They also performed the plumbing work that was required to bring my own strata lot apartment to standard and up-to-date. My tenant remained in the strata lot during the entire project and everything went very well and according to schedule. BMS trades and their supervisor, Jean, were all super easy to talk too, professional and courteous. They also finished the job on time and quality work it was. I would dare say in my case, BMS Mechanical went beyond the scope of their responsibility to accommodate my last minutes changes I wanted done . Kudo to all of these guys at BMS and if could give them more than a Five Stars ***** ratings, I would not hesitate to do that. My sincere thanks, J Doucet, Vancouver BC

Avoid this company. There is so much to write but I don't know if an essay is appropriate for a google review. I don't typically ever write reviews, but this company has upset me so deeply today and left me in tears that I feel I am obligated to warn others. BMS may be one of most unorganized, unprofessional, and disrespectful companies in Vancouver. They are involved in a repiping project that has dragged on for months, with no true progress being made. Not ONE of the given deadlines were met. Some of the staff will lie confidently to your face with all ease, and dismiss anything you have to say. The way they treat you gives you the impression that they have zero consideration for the peoples homes and consequently lives they are affecting. Living in a construction zone in your own home for 2 months (when they gave you a 3 week time frame for your ensuite work, Nov 23-Dec11) all while remaining as patient as possible. Today marked the absolute end of it, when BMS has blamed us rudely for mistakes on their end.Avoid by all means. Very unprofessional, cold, and unconcerned staff.

Our 99 unit strata building’s domestic re-pipe project was awarded to BMS Plumbing & Mechanical after completing a RFP process. From the two pre-work information sessions held for owners/residents (including BMS’s time estimate and preparation instructions) to pre-work in-suite inspections with each resident to the actual re-pipe and through to the finish of the job, owners/residents expressed satisfaction at the result. Many were pleasantly surprised that the experience was not as negative as anticipated. I would like to commend BMS for their professionalism, excellent communication and customer service. BMS's project management team for this project (Tamara, Jean and Jeremy) were all very professional, knowledgeable and patient in addressing concerns/questions on a timely basis throughout the project. In particular, Jeremy the on-site foreman, always made himself available to address questions/concerns, which owners/residents particularly appreciated. The crew were professional, pleasant, courteous, accommodating and tidy. BMS did quality work, within budget and on schedule. I have been extremely impressed with the work done by BMS in re-piping our condominium building!I was pleased right from the outset with the 2 excellent zoom presentations by Tamara beforehand, describing in detail the scope of the work to be done.Even prior to the commencement of the work, each owner had an insuite inspection by the foreman, Jeremy, to go over where the walls needed to be cut to access and replace the existing pipes and answer any questions or concerns we had.Subsequently, each resident was provided with a detailed schedule outlining each step of the process( e.g. when the drywall was going to be cut/ when the pipes were going to be replaced, when the drywall would be repaired and when the painting would be done etc.)The workers were very professional, polite, friendly and accommodating.They were on time and followed the timeframe set up in the schedule. I was pleased that some of the work being done was not subcontracted. The tradesmen coordinated the work seamlessly, and worked well together. On several occasions, I had additional questions for Jeremy, the foreman and he always made himself available to answer them.I thank everyone at BMS for the great job and I would not hesitate to recommend you to any potential future client!Christopher LeeStar of Kitsilano

Great company to work with. They repiped my condo and all of the plumbers, drywallers, tapers, painters, etc. were very friendly and thorough. They did a great job and left the bathrooms and kitchen area very clean at the end of each day. Highly recommend!

BMS completed a major re-piping of an apartment building I am an owner in. The occupants remained living in the building while the walls were opened up and pipes were replaced, but their technicians had a systematic method of coordinating the crews so there was minimal disruption to the occupants. The BMS people were friendly and endlessly patient with occupants of the building. After the job started we wanted some changes to the plumbing that cost more, but BMS did not charge for the changes :-) . They finished ahead of schedule and the building is back to normal. My only criticism was that some of the drywall/painting technicians did a less-than-perfect job and had to return to two of the suites. Overall I give them 5 stars for having responsive management, good organization and fair pricing.
