The boat ramp is great. With that said... There is a $10 fee to launch a boat and there is nowhere on the property to park with a boat trailer. They will recommend parking at the local arena clear across town. This is a small gripe but a heads up... Be prepared to walk across town if you want to launch a boat here...

Awesome craft, local beer on tap! Bartender was a gem as well and helped us feel at home in Baddeck! Would return for sure! PS the terrace up top had an incredible waterfront view

COVID has really cut back the attendance, hardly anyone there...not the lively place it was in 2019...they had live music 4 times week in 2019, now it's MAYBE one day a week. So hopefully it makes a comeback...still nice spot for a cold drink and a second floor view of the Bras dOr, locals stop in for a beer... friendly spot...

I don’t come too often (only every end of May as part of the Cabot Trail Relay post-race celebrations, i.e. Leg 18), but the picturesque location, the exceptional service, the tasty beverages and the local entertainment/music are of the finest quality and quintessential East Coast. A must visit stop on any tour of Cape Breton/the Cabot Trail!

Quiet little watering hole. Usually empty unless there's an event. Always courteous staff. Cold beer on tap and in the bottle. A good selection of spirits too.

Love your town, but discrimination, denied access to washrooms We must buy a beverage.I had older guests arrive by water craft . Just like to let the public no this.This is the response=Response from the owner 4 hours agoWe are working hard to gain financial support from our community so that we can reopen our private washrooms for the convenience of our visiting guests. We apologize for the inconvenience your guests experienced.You had access to people who purchase a beverage. This is discrimination . Shame on you .The restaurant beside you gave us access without a purchase

Awesome food and served to us outside on a picnic table as we had our two beagles with us and couldn’t eat inside! Thank you for fixing us a amazing lunch and bringing it to us with a smile!
