Good food for the price. I have never had Katsu in Edmonton so I was excited to try it here. I don’t think it was too dry or overcooked but I was hoping for something even better. We tried the mixed katsu so it was a bit of everything. The sesame dipping sauce was great! However the katsu were crispy but not as juicy as I would love them to be. I wonder if the curry katsu would be the best. Th bibimbap was not great and we suspect they forgot to put salt in it? The udon was surprisingly good among all three dishes we ordered. But I personally am not a huge fan for udon so I cannot comment much. However overall it is a great place for quick lunch or dinner during workdays for wholesome meal. We visited Saturday night and there were only one other table of guests.

So good! They revamped their menu to focus mainly on katsu, udon and some select dishes. We've been looking for a place that offers a variety of katsu closer to the south side and Miga did not disappoint! The Miga Special is great if you want to try the different katsu they offer, while I opted for the Rosu and Hire Katsu combo.All of their katsu combos come with rice, miso soup, pickled vegetables, cabbage and sesame seeds for you to grind up with your sauce. There is no bell to call staff over so you'll have to wave them down if you need anything, but they were very attentive and even reconfirmed our order with us to make sure it was correct.We also got a side udon with one of the meals which was delicious and the entire meal was quite filling.I can't wait to come back and try the cheese katsu next time!

Heads up to those that have gone to this resturaunt prior to the pandemic, they do not have the same menu anymore, they pivoted to be a Korean Tonkatsu resturaunt. I was a little suprised, but the food ended up being really really good! Great portions, and really loved the katsu! The staff answered many ofy questions, and was really helpful as to how to put everything together. Tho I miss the old Miga, this was a great alternative! Thanks!

Amazingly crispy cutlets!!! Servers were all kind and fast. My son loved udon and miso soup he finished them all. What I liked about udon most is it is not salty at all. Most udon at restaurants are salty so after eating I had to drink more water but miga’s udon is perfect to me.

So happy Miga changed their menu! It’s now something new and different than other Korean restaurants! Been here a couple times but my favourite dishwas are still the deep fried oyster ($15) and their miga special udon ($20)! Price is a little more than other restaurants but I think it’s worth it due to the food presentation and service. I would come again with friends who like to try new things, I thing Miga did a great job putting in an interactive element to their dishes.We had a very wonderful server I think her name is Jennifer! She was kind and efficient, you’re lucky if you get her as your server!I’ll be back, keep up the good work Miga staff ❤️

Probably one of the best katsu place in edmonton so far. Really good prices, I mean you get a miso soup, rice, katsu, salad, and a side of curry for an extra $5 but in total around $25?? The service was very nice as well super friendly! If I were to compare this to katsu in Calgary it would be very similar to Kim's Katsu.

Visit: May 2023The good was very good, very generous portion sizes, and the staff was very nice. Only issue I had was that the pork loin katsu I got was a bit dry. Otherwise, the katsu dishes come with rice, soup, and salads which makes a complete meal!

Tried their Katsu Mix and it was overall good. A good set to try a number of items. Some of my pork was dry (maybe a bit overcooked). The cheese katsu was notable and the side salads were a necessity to counter the fried foods. $26 was reasonable given the portion size. I would happily return to try other dishes!
