We went for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant wasn't full but service was really slow probably because of delivery and take out orders. The servers were nice and friendly. The food was pretty good as well - we ordered a party platter. I would recommend the sexy salmon roll and the tiger roll.

I’ve tried very many sushi restaurants in Winnipeg but Sushi Hon is still the best. The sushi is always fresh, the staff are always friendly and prompt, and the prices are reasonable. After having Sushi Hon I see no need to try any more sushi places. Love many of their sushi rolls, chicken yakisoba, chicken teriyaki, miso soup and their green tea is great too.

WONDERFUL place! My wife and I were staying in the area for a anniversary staycation, and wanted sushi. So happy we picked this place! Our server was SOOOOOOOO nice, the food was delicious, and the whole experience was fantastic! Will absolutely be back!

Ordered a few times when it was take out only due to pandemic. What awesone food. We went in and sat in there after they opened up and were blown away. Even better and fresher than I imagined. One of my favorite places for sushi now. You gotta try the sexy salmon roll (97). Its amazing! Wife also enjoyed the stir fried noodles (30-1). Thanks guys. Will be back soon.

I was excited.to try sushi from a 4.5 star review restaurant. Unfortunately it was a let down. The Bakudan was covered in Shiracha. The Unagi roll had no unagi in it, and if it was there then when I opened each roll I couldn't find it. The mango tango roll had 3 slivers of mango in it (picture to show). The shells of the shrimp were still on Finally, the hot sauce used in the spicy rolls is Shiracha which is much too pungent, (picture to show what their in house hot sauce is).Overall I'm quite disappointed and am urging people to try another sushi restaurant.

Went there for a special occasion. Tried 3 types of Sushi Roll , Beef Teriyaki and Prawn Tempura.Rolls are good. I won’t say they are great. Tempura was very good. Crispy and big in size. Beef Teriyaki was Average. Could’ve been far better.Service was impeccable. That’s why I gave a 4 star and not a 3. Total bill was 68 dollar for 5 items including 2 iced tea which was ok.You should definitely try out this place. They need to decorate further and make the ambience nicer.So far my first choice for sushi place is JC Sushi in Bridgewater.

One of the best sushi in Winnipeg, the menu is huge, all ingredients are fresh, we had 8 different rolls and none of the was disappointing. Definitely will buy again from these guys.

Sushi connoisseur here. Been to probably almost every sushi joint in WPG.This place…. Speechless!!+ Reasonable prices+ FRESH FRESH FRESH+ kind staff+ music choice on point+ great ambiance.Definitely just did a massive pig out and boy am I satisfied!!

Unfortunately after eating here many times I will not be returning. We usually do delivery but this time dined in. The space was dirty: cobwebs hanging off the fake cherry blossom tree, wet floor I almost slipped, bathroom incredibly dirty and table taped together. Our wine had chunks in it so we had to get our server to take it back and although it was refreshed it was room temp (not ideal for white wine). One of the rolls we ordered, which we usually get, was overloaded with sauce and inedible. We were told because we ordered it, even though we did not eat it we will have to pay for it. There was zero compensation, our server asked her manager multiple times for compensation and was denied. The manager should have been professional and spoken to us directly. We will not be back. Please clean your space and give your staff the flexibility to do the right thing and exercise good customer service at the very least.
