Money Mart

Went to cash a cheque from tax return. Call the night before to see if they could cash cheque in morning? They said No problem! They said that there computer systems would not let them do it ? They lady tried calling management. And I wait for over 45 minutes. And no return call . Went to different location they cashed cheque in 5 minutes ! Don’t go here very poor customer service!

Was here for Western Union transfer. The clerk was not able to find my account and tried charging more fee than quoted online. That was 15 mins of time wasted.

The customer services is very slow I went in this location to barrow a payday laon. The white lady said you only approved $200. I went to a different location in Langley I got approved $1700. I will not recommend this location the white lady also rude.

The lady who helped me on Canada Day did an amazing job. Despite being super swamped she took the time to make sure I got the help I needed converting foreign funds into Canadian. She deserves recognition and more.

5 dollar fee to exchange 10 euro

They did a good job, the lady and gentleman helped me quickly, professionally. I’ve been a customer at money mart for 25 years,m. The service has always been top notch.

Very disappointed. My incoming transfer was higher than usual and all they would say is 'we haven't got it'. When pressed they suggested one of the Safeways or Walmarts. No discussion about lead time for pickup, no solid suggestions on which locations might be a best choice. Horrible service, absolute disinterest in solving the problem, no depth of information.

If I could choose minus stars I will because the customer service was horrible. They had a sign saying : To save time: We are not able to process Western Union payouts/receivers by uncontrollable circumstances

I went to 3 other Money Mart in the last few days, went to the Surrey Central and 2 other locations in Surrey. I had a bad experience with them over all, not very friendly staff ,they were rude. i tried explaining what i needed but said NO they can not do it. I even asked for the Manager to talked too. So I decided to go to Langley City across Willowbrook Mall. I explained to them I worked with people who have disability for over 20 years and teaching them to do life skills etc. I needed to get them a PRE PAID MASTER CARD, and asked them what the requirements was, some of them are able to understand but not able to sign or even some sort of signature they were willing to accept. All the IDs and proof i had. In order for them to get this I needed to bring the individuals to show that was them. Money Mart near willowbrook mall was able to help us and give us the the Mastercard .The ladies name Jyhoti and the other lady working was so nice and very helpful & were able to explain it very good. They were very professional about and had a good understanding. I highly recommend this Money Mart location. Thanks so much :) :) :)

The Honest Truth:- store is clean;- depending on time you arrive, several persons could be ahead of you;- normally one employee working;- service is prompt, once your turn, and hassle free;- no public bathrooms;- disability access available.- parking availableMy Opinion:Due to the shortage of staff wait times could be up to 30 minutes depending on what transactions are ahead of you. I believe that this is out of the hands of the staff so expect to be patient.
