AS Special Events Party & Tent Rentals

Would give zero stars if possible . Dealt with AS special events recently and needed tables and chairs . Asked for the price multiple times and was ignored. If we knew the price prior , we would never go through it as it was almost $400 for a table and a dozen chairs . Was also charged for linen cloth that would go with the table but never received it when delivered . The lack of empathy regarding our situation was the final straw . Would not recommend to anyone thinking of booking with them .

Extremely unprofessional. I rented many items from them for my wedding in July. Firstly, when my coordinator called to help schedule the drop-off times, they refused to speak with her until the remaining payment was made. They were very aggressive and seemed to only care about money. Secondly, two days before my wedding, I was contacted by someone from the the company informing me that the tables I rented for my headtables and sweetheart tables would not fit in the elevator of my venue and thus would not be delivered!!!!!! How can a professional company take my deposit, and proceed with my order without confirming the measurements and Inform me less 48 hours before my wedding?? After many stressful calls and back and forth, I was forced to rent different tables and pay an ADDITIONAL fee for them. They didn't even care that it was their fault for not confirming the measurements when I clearly articulated the venue space! Additionally, I paid for 6 bars, however they only delivered 5! After the wedding I complained, and they lied to me and said that my coordinator told them that I didn't need it". Why would I pay for the bar if I didn't need it? Why wouldn't the company deliver it as the contract stated? Of course

We rent for AS Special Events quite often. The quality of service is exceptional. They offer a large variety of rentals and the inventory is very well Maintained and cared for. I would recommend them to everyone looking for quality.Thank you AS

I got a table and chiavari chairs for my lunch party from AS special event. Even though, it was last minute inquiry, they delivered my order properly.Dropped off and picked up were so smooth.Thanks Bobby for quick response.

Renting from them was a horrible experience. The actual tent was MUCH smaller than the pictures they sent, their truck’s hydraulics broke on my driveway and spilled oil everywhere (that they said they’re not responsible for, per the contract) AND I have video of them running over my lawn with their truck that they denied. Absolutely wouldn’t recommend them AT ALL-and I’ve rented from other tent companies. These people were overpriced and under delivered.

Horrible customer service, if I could give zero stars I would. Unclear on how to do their services, how it works, they will tell you they can do it and the email back hours later close to closing hours they can’t.The lady you email specifically for these details was Rude, argumentative, didn’t let me speak and yelledOver me to prove a point with zero apologies or understanding. Absolutely NO customer service or professionalism. Also unprofessionally told me I’m wasting my time I could be calling other places, closeTo closing for most stores.Unbelievably horrible customer service, pay attention the the bad reviews, I would not trust working with them and trusting they will be ableTo provide a service. They mentioned they would be able to fulfill the Order for me and hours later that changed. They also don’t seem to care about how they speak to customers, no organized system in place, better go with Gervais in Scarborough. Although they were unavailable, it was nothing like a nightmare with this place.Also whoever owns this business I would recommend reconsidering your office admin, she did not care about negative reviews and mentioned that a few times. I would assess her role as someone who is on the customer side of the business, she was rude and arguementative, I wouldn’t feel this inclined to leave a negative review if I didn’t have that encounter with this individual.

Wow! What an amazing experience. Bobby and his team were on point. My daughters backyard shower followed by her wedding the week after was a success. As special events was so accommodating and understanding. And priced right. trifecta!!Thank you from me and my family. Rain or shine you delivered.

Bobby and his crew put up a large tent for us last weekend (40x60). Despite a tough install because of uneven ground, he was personally here working away and making sure everything was done perfectly. As the uneven groundwork put them behind, he came back at 7pm the next night and stayed until midnight in order to finish the job on time as promised.After being in the hospitality business for over 2 decades, witnessing such a high level of dedication, care, and service is rare to say the least. Without hesitation, I would recommend this company.
