Knox-Metropolitan United Church

The theology is more like left wing politics than Biblical morality but the venue is amazing for acoustics.

Never been to a service. For a concert venue, it is very wonderful.

Beautiful heritage church built in 1906 in Gothic-and-Norman style and rebuilt after the devastating Regina Cyclone in 1912. It us across from Victoria Park in the centre if downtown Regina. It has wonderful acoustic quality and is the site of many musical events, including parts of the Regina Symphony and Chamber series and the Rotary Christmas Carol Festival. It remains a fully functional United Church, originally a Methodist and Presbyterian church. It has lovely wood detail, vaulted ceilings and a Heritage pipe organ.

Just attended a lovely wedding at this church and it is a beautiful place. An extremely wonderful venue for such an event.

Well went into this church Sunday Mar 27 22Not I got kicked out because of no vaccine and no mask I thought the mandates were gone never in a million would you think about getting kicked out of a church

The reverance and acoustics of Knox-Met is amazing and remarkable. Can't wait to sing here with Living Skies Chorus.

Knox met is a fairly large church. It has 12 full sized ringing bells in the tower. With a dead air space art gallery at the top. Tours are available upon request. They also have a hand bell band. The Knox met also jas a large pipe organ that is played for services and concerts also for funerals. There are many concerts being played in the space. There is a choir as well. The church is a very musical one. There is a fair sized basement that has a kitchen. There is also a small kitchen on the main floor near 2 seperate rooms. A kitchen facing a gym is on the top floor with a stage. The church has an elevator. There are other small rooms scattered throughout the church. The church has a book sale and a huge flea market every year.
