The fried chicken burger is nice in the way that the bread is soft, that the fried chicken is crispy and not oily, and that the salad sauce is just fit and not overwhelming. The attendants are friendly and helpful.A Taiwanese style restaurant that should not be neglected lightly in its plaza, though the recent focus is on a Hong King style noodle restaurant nearby.

Visit this place on a weekend for lunch, came at 1130 and already have people waiting in line, luckily we got a table within 15 minutes for a group of five. They don’t take reservation and the place is small, so come early or you will have to wait!Tried most of the dishes people recommended, their popcorn chicken, deep fried squid, egg pancake are a must try. Beef noodle soup is lack of flavor and very little beef slices, but the texture of the noodle is super good! Minced pork rice is a traditional Taiwanese food but here they didn’t make it well, very disappointed to see this dish not being made properly. Lack of favour and rice is not fully cooked. The service is good and fast and they take time to explain the menu. Overall, enjoyed the meal and would come back to try more.

The fried tofu and popcorn chicken were really good.My mom really liked the egg pancake with pork floss too.We were given a menu to choose our dishes while waiting for a seat. This allowed the food to come out relatively quickly after getting seated.Service from the staff was good.

Unfortunately I couldn't love this restaurant. I was excited about having local Taiwanese fare available and the venue was quite busy. Staff actually asked us to pack up and go when they noticed we had slowed down eating because so they could seat someone else. I found this place expensive for what you get and the quality of food. 5 mains with 1 side and 3 drinks cost $90 before tip. The popcorn chicken and the green onion egg pancake were the favourites of the table. But the deep fried pork noodle soup was a huge miss, it was incredibly salty and sour and didn't have much flavour. The beef brisket noodle soup was better, not as salty and the beef was tender but it wasn't deep or full bodied in flavour. The braised pork on rice was ok too. Not a lot of ground pork and the egg was incredibly over cooked that it was very hard. The ice tea is like drinking sugar water and all of us had to water it down by pouring the hot tea into it so there was a stronger tea flavour. I wouldn't go out of my way to come dine here.

Wonderful authentic Taiwanese cuisine with a no frills, home-style feeling atmosphere. Food was excellent and came quickly. Service was attentive. Incredible value for the quality and portion size.Dishes pictured are the Gua Bao, Taiwanese Lettuce, Tofu, Jellyfish Salad, and Sticky Rice.Would definitely come back again!

Craving for some Taiwanese food and found this newly opened restaurant around the area!We ordered take-out. Popcorn chicken, crispy chicken, and the pork floss pancake were all good. The popcorn chicken and the crispy chicken were still crispy by the time I arrived home. The 3-cup chicken was ok.Portion was good, pricing was good, and the employees were friendly. The wait time was approximately 15 mins. Will definitely go back.

Food was tasty, but a bit pricey for Taiwanese food. Came out fast and steaming hot. The tea was only room temp though. They have unlimited serve-yourself pickled mustard greens on the side, alongside some red sauce (we didn’t try), white pepper and vinegar. We ordered:- Popcorn chicken: 4/5 - was light & crispy, could be a little more salty.- Braised minced pork with Taiwanese sauce on rice: 3.5/5 - nothing special, wasn’t terrible but wasn’t amazing. The portion was decent and just the right amount of sauce.- House thickened pork soup noodles: 3/5 - had lots of egg noodles, but the base was pretty tasteless. I needed to add lots of vinegar and white pepper to it. Not sure if it is a traditional / authentic, but I would not recommend even though it has a “Chef recommended” logo beside it.There’s only 8 tables, so if you come during rush hour, expect to wait.

Delicious authentic Taiwanese comfort street food at Richmond Hill. Located in a small plaza with plenty parking spaces. Cozy & clean. Excellent customer service. The servers were very polite and attentive. Dropped in on Tuesday afternoon for a quick lunch. It wasn’t busy. Wanted to order their Taiwanese Oyster Soup Vermicelli with Pork intestine but ran out of vermicelli. End up we tried their House Thickened Pork Soup Noodles, 3-Cup Basil Chicken on rice and Braised Tofu Block. Food were served hot & fast. They did have authentic Taiwanese flavour. Wish they could offer a drink comes with the combo with rice or drink on menu. The young owner also promoted their new menus of Cold noodle with sesame sauce & Oyster Omelet will be coming in summer. Will definitely come back to try them.

My kids love this place. Their popcorn chicken taste like freshly made (because we found a small piece of bond in one of them). Unlike other places mixed chicken with other stuff. The downside of this dish, no sauce!Their oysters pancake is pretty good, saucey and well done. Taste just like the one in Taiwan night Market. The braised pork bun is good but a bit pricey, $8.99 for one but it's worth give it a try.You can never go wrong with their noodles and rice. Noodle texture is on the harder side which I liked. Their minced pork rice is saucey which I liked.
