Zehrs Beechwood

Went to Zehrs Friday to grab a sandwich from the hot food section. Two girls working told us they weren’t trained on the new menu yet but would try. I got the Chrispy chicken bacon sandwich, the bacon was not heated at all it was slimy and not cooked fully, I could not eat it. The ladies working were great, very kind and friendly. Zehrs needs to do better and provide their staff the tools they need to be successful at their job. With the cost of food these days, the last thing I want is to throw out my meal.

What is with the new high security vibe at this store? It used to be such a friendly place. On leaving I was confronted and asked to show my receipt to prove I had not stolen anything. I am a senior citizen who has shopped there for years. Maybe the store should hire more cashiers and get rid of the security detail, Or at least train them to be more polite.

Best overall Zehrs store I have seen. From time to time I tried different zehrs location but always I found this one is the best in produce quality freshness and choices, best in Bakery freshness and choice. With new look upgrade all store including fridges and display unit, it’s fantastic to visit. Please don’t keep changing items from location to other, that wast our time and effort. Check out always good , no costumer service late or early that is not good. However, I give this store 5/5 stars in overall.

This place lacks diversity and employees are obviously racists against non-white people. You can feel it especially when you check out. The cashiers would chat and laugh with white customers but they don’t even make eye contact with non-white customer, not a hi not a thank you, nothing. Your staff need some diversity training and you need to hire more diverse employees.

Not a fan of the push toward using self checkout and then being stopped to review my receipt. I bought 3 things in full view of the security officer while only one other customer was in the area. 1 customer : 1 employee ratio and I get stopped to review my receipt. I'm not overly motivated to return.

Absolutely awful environment. They make you feel like you've done something wrong just by entering their store. Prices have gone through the roof and they treat every customer like a criminal.Despite this being the nearest grocery store to me and having gone to it almost exclusively for several years, I am out, I will go further to have a pleasant experience grocery shopping.

Typical Zehrs: clean, well stocked, and expensive. Lots of plant based vegan items. Some of them tend to be spread between the non-vegan things so a bit of a hunt to find sometimes. Seems pretty quiet during the day. Decent amount of parking. Carts are free to use. There is also a dietician and mobile kiosk here.

This is my go-to grocery store, and maybe favourite ever. Love the layout, staff are very helpful. I have had extensive help especially in produce if I cant find something, having assistance looking around. Its very fairly priced in my opinon especially if you shop smart or take advantage of the points. I was able to get everything for this charcuterie board for under $35 which i think is amazing. Its always clean, and their international and floral section always stand out!

This store sells good quality products however at a high price. You may find some of its products in the subsidiary like No-frills.I would rate 5 star their olive bar. It has extremely delicious garlic shrimp and olives and their prices are good. 5 big shrimp and five big olives will cost around $4-5 which is worth it.It has a good dropped price sometimes. Also their bakery provides fresh sweets and bread
