Beothuck Family Park

Park clean and sites big.Disappointed by lack of dumping station within park but park did have a system in place.Unable to use swimming area due to having dogs. No dogs allowed at beach. Not to be left alone on site. So,only one person could go and use.

Beothuk park is a beautiful mature park located on Main Street West in Grand Falls Windsor. Shaun and Bonnie (the owners) are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and will help and accommodate you in any way that they can. This Is the only park in GFW that allows fires and fire rings are provided. On the tenting side of the park there are beautiful grass sites that vary in size but all are very private and beautiful. The park also has direct access to the Trailway making it ideal for cross island ATVers to set up a tent for the night and continue in the morning without having to detour from the rail bed. I can’t recommend this park enough.

This is the most kid friendly park I have ever stayed at! They go out of their way to make sure children are safe at play and kids can even go to the front desk for a complementary ice cream each day of their stay!Very friendly staff and beautiful beach!We will definitely be back soon!

Great park - serviced lots - 30amp and water. Mature park, lots of privacy on campsites, beach, swimming and playground available. Comfort stations are good, but not great, and there is laundry on site. It's also on then edge of Grand Falls-Windsor, so it's really close to services, stores restaurants and so on. We've been there a few times now, and we really like it - we'll certainly go again.

We thoroughly enjoy it here. The tent sites and very private and grassy. There can be flies in the night, but if you don’t like flies maybe you shouldn’t be tenting LOL. We light citronella and wear fly dope, and it’s all good. The staff seem nice and we have had a good few nights stay here. I fell in love with the tent sites, they’re just as you’d hope a nice site would be. You’re a little walk from the comfort station but not too far, the water is potable which makes everything easier. The comfort station is simple but clean, and the two times we’ve camped coming and going as we wish hasn’t been an issue. It’s quiet and child friendly, although there doesn’t seem to be so many children that it’s an inconvenience to adult-only groups. The smimming area seemed great, and we love coming here as it’s within town limits, so we can stay here while working on call. I’m hoping to get a seasons swimming pass this year so that I can kayak and canoe on a daily basis.

Great spot to spend the day at the beach with a day pass. Camp grounds are basic but if you enjoy a real camping experience this is a must.

It was a really nice place with very kind and helpful staff!! It is good to take with you some spray against mosquitos - there were many when we slept there. Facilities were clean and there is access to a pond. Highly recommended!

Great campground. But there is no wifi,you have pay. To dump . But these people who run this place are great and funny.

Nice park. Bad experience with being yelled at from a truck by owner about my generator being off by 11. Of course that’s not a problem but I think a little more professionalism and friendliness would go a long way.
