Service was good, Chicken was good. Foreign matter in my pepsi, cole slaw had 10x the dressing it should, slop.. Spring roll had a bone in it. Won't be going back.

On the plus side, our server was pleasant, although not very attentive. In fairness, the restaurant was not excessively busy, but appeared to be understaffed. The dining room was typical of the franchise, but washrooms were in need of a thorough cleaning. On the negative side, the menu has been thinned significantly compared the past, as it has been in many other establishments. The fact that they no longer have a garden salad or Caesar salad reduces the options further. They were out of coleslaw this evening, and spring rolls were also not available. We did manage to order two 1/4 chicken dinners, one with mashed potatoes and the other with garlic green beans. The green beans were warm, generously portioned, and quite nice. The chicken was tasteless and cold, enough that I wondered if it was safe to eat. I am not sure where they get chickens that small, but I hope they don't serve any smaller. Coffee was good, but I had to request a refill, and was finished my meal by the time it arrived. We were not in a rush, but had not really planned on 2.5 hours for dinner, mostly spent waiting. I considered stopping for a snack on the way home. Not really looking forward to visiting that location again anytime soon! Overall, very disappointed with the experience.

Salads not available. Fish and chips dinner picture looks delicious only to be served fish that looks much different. Definitely wouldn't recommend this option. Boxed frozen fish from supermarket tastes better and that's not great. Was expecting better in the maritimes. Very short staffed and slow service. Washrooms definitely could be cleaned better.

Just went in there and they wouldn’t allow my daughter to sit in her stroller. Nor would they let her sit in a high chair cause it’s supposedly a hazard. I have never had this issue at any other Swiss chalet. If you have kids definitely avoid this place. We left and went elsewhere.

Currently sitting in the restaurant waiting for our food. It took almost half an hour to have our order taken and we've been waiting over 45 minutes on top of that for our meal. I really feel for the servers as there are only two of them. Every time I come here there is something unavailable. Tonight I couldn't get a wrap and there was no salad of any kind. I love Swiss Chalet but this place is struggling unfortunately.

Waited 40 minutes for our meal while other people who came after us got their meal before us. Over heard people at other table say they waited 45 mins to be served and were not leaving any tip. We watched the take out orders going but nothing for us. After 40 minutes of waiting we left. Would not recommend this Swiss Chalet location to anyone.

We are still at the restaurant. We were looking forward to a garlic loaf. Come to find out the menu has shrunk quite a bit.We realize covid hurt many restaurants. Please bring back the garlic loaf, nachos, and all your amazing choices that were on the menu before!!

Went for supper today. Worst experience ever. Ordered spring rolls but they're out, ordered southern canuck with ceasar salad but they're out of salad. Got my food and there was no coleslaw on the burger. Apparently they were also out of that but didn't bother to tell me. I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known. So I payed $25 despite not eating it. I had some of my poutine but I didn't even finish that cause the cheese was not melted. Didn't even touch the sandwich.Take my advice and go anywhere else

Ordered take out. Waited 40 min to have them tell me they made my food wrong, we asked for no mayo, ranch or sauce on both sandwiches. Waited another 20 mins and the sandwiches still had mayo on them. I told the manager how long I waited for the wrong food and was offered a free desert, that I declined. Got to the car to eat the take out and everything was cold and unedible, due the the unacceptably long wait, and everything still had mayo on it. I went back in and asked for a refund and the manager argued with me. She finally listened to reason, when the server who took my meal came to my aid, and I got a full refund. She blamed the waitress when the order slips clearly said, no mayo, no sauce or ranch. Love Swiss Chalet, but I will not return to this location.
