Willowdale Middle School

Theachers are very nice but other that and the education and help with work that is the only good parts. This is my first year here and i have been bullied alot. i got suspended for a day beacuse i was in alot of drama when really i had gotten punched in the face and stomac three times. The principle is nice but the vice-principle is uhm- ya.

Wonderful expertise, i really enjoyed my stay at this day time hotel, i didn't have to do any work and i felt relaxed.

Unfortunately, the reviews here are quite accurate in terms of the intolerable bullying at Willowdale Middle School. It is not addressed by the teachers and staff whom I am sure, notice it. Also, our son mentioned many times that the cafeteria food is overpriced and poor quality. The bullying, more than anything, is a serious issue to be addressed. We ended up switching schools for our son

The school is okay. I wouldn’t say it’s the best but it has a nice working environment and great teachers. The COVID-19 protocols are very effective and I like how the system of the school is. Now moving on to the cafeteria.. the cafeteria offers typical unhealthy school food. I once ordered a two slice pizza but what I got in return was a cold and bitten pizza. So to make a long story short: Great academic aspects but not the best food. I would recommend this school.

When my daughter was 6th grade, she got bullied a lot and didn't learn anything in school. I told the school couple times about my daughter was bullied but they didn't care. But in the end, I switched school for my daughter since 7th grade and she felt better in her new school.

I went here for Grades 7-9 back in 1977-1980. It was called Willowdale Junior High School back then. My home room teachers were, in order, Mr Christensen (rugged outdoorsman type, loved him), Mr Stewart (wore polyester, or maybe he didn't, but that's the way I remember it), and Mr Manson (really nice person who had trouble controlling his class). My favourite and most memorable teachers at this school were Mme de Villiers (English), Mr Gebirtig (Phys Ed and Health), Mr Laansoo (art), Mr Pipe (Science), and Miss Baker (Music).Sadly, reading some of the other reviews, it sounds like nothing has changed in 40 years! I was bullied extensively and the school officials did nothing more than hand-wringing. Thank you, Mr Brown (Vice Principal) for being the one person in administration who had my back.

Attending Willowdale is okay, however the lunchroom is always overcrowded and there's a lot of understaffing around the school. (My 7th grade class had over 40 people(
